Fabulous room, comfortable bed and lots of nice little touches like free sweets.
Nothing, it was fantastic
The bedroom, the location and the garden.
The three flights of stairs to get to the bedroom - this should be given on booking.
The penthouse suite was lovely and spacious. The pictures don’t do it justice. Lovely comfy sofa in the living area. It was a hot weekend but with all the sky lights you can open the room was easily cooled down, plus a fan is provided.
Outside area is very pretty to sit and have a drink.
Free parking which is a bonus and only a short walk to the centre of Driffield with plenty of bars/shops and cafes.
Staff helpful and pleasant and took us up to the room on check in.
We would have liked to try the restaurant but unfortunately we had plans both nights.
The only niggle was the drinks in the bar, the prosecco strangely was measured and was quite expensive for a 125ml which only amount to a third of a flute. Didn’t seem worth it. No draft beer also. But we did only have a couple of drinks as we had plans so it was fine.
The property was old and full of history had such a great day
The property was amazing
Beautiful relaxing place
No reception on TV so couldn’t tune in to watch football World Cup / Wimbledon tennis. Cooked breakfast really nice, selection of cereals / fresh fruit pretty poor.

Beautiful property, really sympathetic to the period it was built. Spotless bedroom. The staff are what makes this stay truly special, they really care.
Dinner was incredible, such high attention to detail and truly delicious.
Could not fault it. Breakfast was perhaps a tad expensive at £17 for one pre ordered course. Perhaps a juice offering or additional continental options would have made it feel better value. Delicious none the less.
Lovely room and bathroom. Loved the shower. Staff were very friendly and kind
Nice grounds
They are recovering from recently going bust. Clearly lots to learn and not really boutique quality yet. The parking area is under trees and cars inevitably get covered in bird sh*t
Could tell a lot of effort went into the rooms styling and furnishing.
Bed so comfortable I slept through my alarm!
Breakfast was a tad expensive.
Electrical sockets were not placed near to bedside table for easy phone charging.
Unique property and rooms
No bar or food due to insufficient staff, quite a walk into town to find somewhere for an evening meal
The Hotel was superb traditional with history the hotel itself was beautiful and the grounds well kept.
The room was very comfortable well presented and the bath room was to a high standard.
No problems to speak of.
