Parking was great the staff were brilliant room was great bar had a fantastic selection of beers

Lovely stay, staff are really nice.

This was a perfect little hotel we'd found by chance. We were at a concert so we only needed a nice bed, but this hotel was so much more. The superior suite was beautifully presented. Modern with a traditional boutique cottage feel. The check-in was in the connected pub which was also just as nice. Check-in was simple. The staff were brilliant and friendly. Our room had everything we needed. The shower was better than mine at home. And the breakfast the next day was the best I've had in a long time! Was just a shame we weren't there for another night for something because we'd have made more use of the pub and could do with another comfy night in that bed before going back to the working week!!

Great hotel. Great location. Lovely place to stay. Staff was great although manager could of looked like he enjoyed his job. But staff was amazing and happy to help. Will definitely come back

Lovely breakfast included, very dog friendly in all areas.

Excellent room and service.

Rooms are large for the money, and very comfortable. Food is good and very quick service. The only let down is very poor wifi in the rooms

We were a bit late arriving but nevertheless received a warm welcome. Breakfasts were excellent and the hotel was conveniently located for a sports event which were attending. Looking forward to staying there again.

As above. Would have liked a small fridge and bottled water in room. Water is available from the bar. Appreciated the iron and ironing board. A top sheet on the bed in the warm weather would have been useful.

Nice comfortable room. It was very warm and whilst there was no aircon there was at least a fan in the room.

Breakfast was good, Sunday Roast was plentiful and reasonably priced. Good selection of drinks in the bar.

Above all though the saff were all lovely.

Will definitely stay again if in this aeea.

Lovely location and staff were great however the room was extremely noisy from other guests coming in late which woke us up several times during the night.

Room was fine, bathroom ok but needs an update. Would stay again. Breakfast was great. Staff were struggling with no hot water however dealt with it well and were lovely.

Nice room and atmosphere

Fantastic sleep, perfect for what we paid/needed, the only complaint was that the full English breakfast wasn't the best (just no real flavour/seasoning, no one in the group finished theirs) but great room slept like a log even though we were the first room on the ground floor, pub attached is great, staff were excellent

All the staff that I interacted with were really great particularly the lady that took my breakfast order on the Sunday morning. The breakfast itself was great and the light bites that I had the previous evening for dinner were really good too and great value.
A little refurbishing here and there might not go amiss but I would definitely stay again if I was in the area as the staff really make this place!

The entire place is in need of much TLC. We were allocated an accessible room which we didn't need/request therefore wash hand basin, mirrors etc were much lower. It didn't make for a comfortable stay.
Food was either under or overcooked. Definitely won't be back!
