Pros:

Simple but clean and very adequate for our needs. We were happy with it and do not hesitate to recommend.

Historically awesome!!
Pros:

Nicely decorated, great bedding, big bathroom, temperature was excellent and ways to change it if we need it. Kitchen and full fridge was fantastic.

Pros:

Good location. Kitchen has not all the required ustensils, but it was enough for us. Our rooms were connected so we could share all the family as it was an apartment for all.

Very enjoyable. I would recommend it to others.
Pros:

The hotel was an old hotel of historic value. The place was well maintained and did not have that old musty smell. It was clean and had the pleasant odour of Lysol cleaner.
The building had a lot of character. Someday perhaps they will reopen the courtyard and bar that was originally there.

Cons:

We were given a pass code to enter but other guests would not lock the main door behind them so often the entry was open. Perhaps a self locking device would improve security. And being able to use the dead bolt on our room door would feel more secure than just the doorknob lock.

Historic Hotel is a Great Place to Stay in Stewart, BC
Pros:

We felt like we were staying at a friend’s lovely old house. It was comfortable, homey with thoughtful touches. Proprietor could not have been nicer - he was so pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend experiencing this hotel and the sights in the area…mountains, glaciers and bears, oh my ;-)

Cons:

Not a thing - loved this hotel.

Pros:

The location was great. We were always able to find parking right out front. Stairs were squeaky, floors slanted - it is old and historical, so adds to the charm.

Cons:

The smaller room has the head of bed downhill. The fridge was in an awkward place. Had to have the bedroom door closed to access it. And prop the door with a garbage can to use the doorway, which then blocks the fridge.
