Perfect stop for an overnight trip while on the road
Pros:

The location is close to the freeway so easy on and off. The front desk was staff was very helpful. The place is clean and it was a great overnight stop

Cons:

Can’t think of anything negative to say. Would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed here before. Quirky, super-clean, very comfortable, surprisingly quiet and extra-friendl
Pros:

Convenient stopover location driving I-5 between Bay Area and Washington state. Love that there is no next-door-neighbor noise because each room is its own A-frame. Comfy bed, super clean, park at my door, friendly owner, environmentally aware with biodegradable toiletry containers. Good windows so didn't hear freeway noise

Cons:

Not much, altho I wish (as with most motels) they'd add sheer curtains so I could have privacy without making room dark. Also (altho this isn't the motel - get your dinner elsewhere unless you like Dennys)

A fantastic stay at a unique spot
Pros:

was on the road between portland and crater lake and needed a stop-off and happened to note the A-framed establishment so I made a res here. checked in a bit late and the receptionist was a kind and welcoming lady who put us in a charming room on the corner with a loft overlooking a field of horses. the A/C worked fantastically and just outside in the the corner was a little smoking area for my friend and myself to decompress in. props to the coffee in the morning and hospitality of the reception. highly recommended for all travelers. cozy, safe, unique.

Support local small businesses
Pros:

This is the most warm welcome, unique decorated motels that I ever lived. I strongly support local, small businesses than big corporate brands hotels. A Wellcome drink, snack when you check in, the motel has 9 chickens and a horse. And the owner is very nice and generous gave me a dozen of fresh eggs from their chickens. They are small flower and vegetables gardens , and the grades are growing. Very impressive and lovely living.

Cons:

None

Cute place, nice management, clean, comfortable, well appointed, good value!
Pros:

Super friendly receptionist, the room was clean and well appointed and comfortable. The property was fun looking with the A-frames. It was quiet and private because there was no one below or above you. There was a nice gathering area if you wanted to be outside.

Cons:

It would be nice if there were restaurants near by, but there are some about 15 minutes away.

Perfect Roadside Stop in Oregon
Pros:

Generally, with us, the people we interact with make the stay. The innkepers and their pup (a true joy) are absolutely lovely and make time to chat and get guests oriented to the area. To be clear, this is very much a roadside motel - but it was the best value we had on the entire trip. Oregon and Northern Cali are not a cheap date - and this was a great find for a one-night roadside stop as we kicked off a roadtrip from Eugene. Little touches like an energy bar and coffee in the lobby in case you need a quick snack are very nice. Finally, the architecture of the property is quite unique. The A-Frame spaces are exceptionally cute.

Cons:

These folks are just getting started, having taken over this hotel a few years ago - and they took over a property that has a fair bit of deferred maintenance that needs doing. I suspect the maintenance issues will work themselves out over time. But again, the value and the people should offset any hesitation one might have.

It was fun to stay in this architecturally significant A-Frame motel. The hosts were welcoming and generous.
Pros:

Right off Highway 5, next to open fields. Clean and neat.

Cons:

The couple who own the property are working hard to repair all the units, and have more work to complete such as filling the cracks between the wall and the floor left of the front door. And weather stripping the front door so the wind can’t blow through, as well as repainting the inside of the bathroom door as needed.

Great owners, not worth the lost sleep and sore hips.
Pros:

It is convenient to the freeway and food.

Cons:

The beds are very uncomfortable, like sleeping on a carpeted floor. 5:00 am and I want to cry!
