Hotel De Rond Hanoi

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean but small. Tho I can’t say it’s truly family friendly- there was no baby high chair for breakfast, we did get offered a cot but there was no chance to move in the room if we took it. Also the window weren’t soundproof so we heard everything from outside.

Hotel is in a great location. Walkable distance to restaurants and museums. The staff is so helpful and kind. They took great care of me. Book a room with French Balcony.

Really great place. Very roomy for Hanoi! It was almost a 1 bedroom with a balcony! The only complaint I have is the lack of hair conditioner (I think that is all of VN in general) and the weird drain in the bathroom. There was a shower drain, but it flowed out to the outer shower and behind the toilet. Very weird, but overall a good experience.

Perfect location

Upon arrival staff was amazing greeting us with a welcome drink. Helped us with our luggage’s from the taxi right away. Checking in was a breeze and earlier than their scheduled time. Staff always greeted us with a smile. The room and bathroom was very clean and very spacious. My family had a wonderful stay in this hotel.

Grand foyer, lovely decor and very friendly welcome at check in from Ms Chip. Enjoyed our stay, very comfortable room, nice breakfast with optional eggs or Pho cooked fresh as well as other selections on buffet. Grateful for being able to have extended check out time, (we paid extra half day) as we were catching overnight train. Staff all friendly, helpful and very well presented.

We stayed here 4 times during our visit to Vietnam. Each time was excellent. The place is new and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful, amazing all around. We used their car service to and from the airport and it was a great deal and so easy to connect with the driver. One caveat is that the rooms with a balcony face the street and are noisy until about midnight. Walking distance to everything, close to the lake and major sights. Great restaurants nearby too.

Bien situé près du lac Hoan Kiem. Propre. Grande chambre avec balcon. WiFi rapide (si besoin. Mesuré à 33,6 mbps en descendant et 15,6 en montant). Petit déjeuner suffisamment varié, avec en particulier de très bons plats vietnamiens.
Personnel attentionné et efficace.
Un très bon séjour.

Walkable to places

Pretty good customer service. Great breakfast which is free. Not in old querer so relatively quiet at night but still within walkable distance.

The hotel is new, clean and located near the Hoan Kiem Lake. Frankly, pretty disappointed with the Chek-in service. I booked this hotel because the included amenities indicated “early check in”. Arrived early at 9.30am and was told need to pay VND300K for early-in even thought the room is available. Non-negotiable. I decided to leave the luggage in the hotel and back to the office w/o changing & wash-up. Check-in was smooth when I returned back to the hotel at 6pm. Requested twin beds and was surprised to be given a King size bed (was told an upgrade?). The room size was good but the KING size bed was way too high. You can only get off the bed from one side as the other side is against the wall. Breakfast was average with limited choices. Frankly as a frequent traveller, there are many good choices around the area.

Hotel De Round is a quaint, easily overlooked establishment that appears to have been converted from an older building. Its structure may seem a bit unusual. The hotel does not offer lunch or dinner, but complimentary breakfast is served in the morning, including the option to have omelets made to order. If I had known beforehand that the hotel did not have a restaurant, I might have chosen to stay elsewhere.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Took care of our luggage when we are out for a 2D1N tour. Walkable to LA MENSA Cafe which is the meeting point for Sapa Sleeper Bus. Walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake as well.
