Pros:

Location OK.

Cons:

You failed to alert us that the Hotel's restaurant was not open for dinner on Sunday and Monday nights which was annoying after arriving after a 6 hour drive, especially on Easter Sunday when everything was shut in Perth.
Badly designed bathroom, no make up mirror light, dark light switches on dark timber paneling, No mini bar.
Confusing parking arrangements. Easter weekend staff not very helpful.

Great location and great place to stay to enjoy Perth.
Pros:

Loved the location. Great design aesthetic’s of the hotel. Very comfy bed and staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was very hit and miss. The room cleaning service was also a bit hit and miss. I had to keep asking for things as they forgot to restock something every day.

Beautiful hotel and location, food service not up to standard.
Pros:

The building is gorgeous and the location is great.

Cons:

For the price, there are quite a few things that could be improved:
- Water should be replaced in the rooms daily
- Restaurant isn’t open for food Sunday or Monday evening but I had no idea
- There’s no menus available in the rooms or on TV
- Restaurant staff were inconsistent. Seemed to be better at night, they really struggled some mornings.
- Breakfast experience is not up to standard, buffet is extremely basic and not topped up
- Menu needs more simple options for travellers with a few staples for room service such as a bolognaise, burger, toastie
- Final night there was road resurfacing outside the hotel, it vibrated the entire building and made it impossible to sleep from 9pm - 2am, hotel had no earplugs available and did not offer a discount

Great hotel, ambiance and location. Food service and guest amenities needs improvement.
Pros:

Building, interiors, location are all beautiful.

Cons:

The service is not up to standard or in line with hotel prices. Water should be replaced in rooms daily, not ask guests to walk to lobby to refill. No mini bar, no menus in the rooms (physical or on TV) and no restaurant dining on Sunday or Monday evenings. The food service team struggled at breakfast, the à la cart food itself is pretty good, especially in the evening, however I feel there needs to be a room service menu with basic food. Coffee should be better.

Comfortable, well appointed rooms in a good location
Pros:

The rooms were great - very nicely furnished and really comfortable.
The hotel also accommodated an extended stay for us (4 nights turned in to 12 as our return flight home was cancelled due to the conflict in the Middle East). They gave us an upgrade to a bigger room with an even better view too, which we really appreciated.

Cons:

We had one night where we couldn’t get any sleep at all - there was a wedding on the lawn by the river immediately by the hotel, and the music was incredibly loud (too loud to sleep even with ear plugs and white noise playing). We appreciated that the hotel were not responsible for the noise, but the location of the party we imagine is regularly used, as there is gated vehicle access and a power supply (so guess this happens fairly regularly). A lovely spot for a wedding, but not so great for hotel guests.

Clean room, confusing hotel, no proper entrance or foyer, glass toilet doors, sullen staff
Pros:

Good location near the university where we needed to be, Large comfortable bed and spacious room. Everything was crisp and clean

Cons:

Breakfast had a very limited range with only a few items on the cooked menu. No bacon and eggs. The continental breakfast was a joke. with a few shallow dishes of plain yoghurt and 4 chunks of cheese in a glass cabinet that you had to cut yourself. If there were more than 4 people in the room it would have been a made rush in the limited space at the serving tray. A few stale croissants and assorted rolls dumped in a basket in the middle of the table. To get what you wanted you needed to dig your way through whatever was on offer and try not to imagine that some people may have used there hands for this purpose. Not exactly awe inspiring. When we checked in late evening, we found the concierge sitting in the bar room with blaring music eating an oily bowl of food. He wiped his greasy hands half heartedly before handling our check in and room keys. Getting to the room was a mission with no real guidance and directions in poor English to go top one of the lifts in the distance and only one went to our floor. Getting there was a mission through a labyrinth of concrete corridors within inadequate signage to the room. It seemed to be too much trouble for the staff working there to move away from their desk to show us anything and everything was gesticulated from a stationary position.
