The best hotel in Miri
Pros:

I loved the concept design and cleanliness of the hotel. I love the inbuilt water dispenser. I loved the strategic location , I loved the security and bellboy

Cons:

Front desk girls were blur and looked anxious and confused when I arrived.

Zentrales, gutes Hotel auch für mehrere Tage, falls die überall viel zu laute Lounge-Musik nicht stört.
Pros:

Hässlicher Bau (von außen), innen aber einladend gestaltet mit feinem Café innerhalb der Rezeption, schöne - etwas zu kleine - sehr ruhige Zimmer, gute Ausstattung, bequeme Betten; Rooftop mit gutem Restaurant, (kleinem) Swimmingpool und toller Aussicht über die Stadt.

Cons:

Von außen modrig verschmutzte Fenster (die wohl schon lange nicht mehr gereinigt wurden). Ein schön gestaltetes Restaurant, aber das Frühstücks-Buffett ist für europäischen Geschmack ein liebloses, langweiliges Standard-Angebot; das Dinner-Buffett war für die Auswahl viel zu teuer.
Sehr störend war die überall viel zu laute „Hintergrundmusik“, selbst beim Empfang gab es Verständigungsprobleme, beim Essen war eine Unterhaltung kaum möglich. Für uns wäre es ein Grund, eher ein anderes Hotel zu buchen.

Didn't live up to expectations
Pros:

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Friendly, helpful staff. They allowed me to check in a couple of hours earlier than the listed time.

Loved that they have a sustainable in-room filter for drinking water. The free scoop of gelato was a welcome treat. Firm mattress, good water pressure in the bathroom.

Cons:

Room had a musty smell when I first entered. It went away after the a/c had been switched on for about 30 minutes.

There wasn't much of a view, but even if there was you wouldn't be able to see much because the outer side of the window was covered from top to bottom in algae/green muck.

Water from the bathroom sink tap was initially brown/rust in colour. Had to let it run for a few minutes before it became clear.

All 4 pillowcases had stains and one of the bath towels had hair on it. Luckily, I spotted a housekeeping staff down the corridor and she changed all the items for me.

Shower stall flooded each time I took a bath and the pooled water was still there more 12 hours later.

Soundproofing not great. You can hear when the rooms above use their shower. My room was right next to the service lift, so I could hear machinery every so often as well. Thankfully, things were quiet after 10pm.

There's a note saying to be eco friendly and leave towels on the floor if you want them replaced. I put the towel on the rack and it still got replaced.
