When we arrived Mar received us , very welcoming and nice.
Location was beautiful..the pool was great...the bed was very comfy.
There was nothing to put our luggage on..so we used the floor..the food was good but limited selection...
Ignore the reviews that say the restaurant is bad here - that was the old management! Under new management, this hotel is top-notch. Right on the bay, the views are fabulous. The hospitality director, Marbrig, is a very special person - personable, helpful, goes above and beyond to serve her customers. Breakfasts were amazing. Get a room with a view -- it's way way better than the cheaper rooms.
Way too many flies in the outdoor restaurant, and there's no indoor part of the restaurant. So have breakfast brought to your room to avoid the flies.
They first put us in the room near the office and it had frosted windows with no curtains, so there was a lot of light at night. But when we mentioned that, they upgraded us to a room with a view that was just perfect in every way.

Great location and views. Very convenient to the airport and the ferry terminal. Right next to Malecón and excellent seafood reastaurants. A great place to disconnect for a few days (although wi-fi is also available). Very secure.

This property is lovely with stunning views and accommodations. It was perfect for our small dog and we felt very secure. Breakfast was included and delicious. The staff were very friendly and interesting to talk to.
