We loved our stay at Katapa Stone House. The breakfast was delicious, with the most beautiful view of the area. There was a beautiful view of the balloons, and you could even see one of the take off spots from the roof. We were close enough to easily walk to town but also in a quiet area. We were also able to hike to Love Valley to see the balloons as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros:

The staff are incredibly welcoming. Located central to most activities Kapata Stone House was a great place for us on our first time to Cappadocia. We were sad to leave, but if we return would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our favorite thing at this hotel was the breakfast. Our room was on the second floor and required going up a long stairway - not the most accessible. Also, not an issue of the hotel but the area has a lot of stray dogs day and night. Could not sleep one night from all the barking.

Our stay at Katapa was absolutely amazing. They have rooms enough for a family of 5 but it wasn’t really a room. It had separate sleeping areas so we could still have privacy. Parking was easy and right on site. The service was phenomenal. It’s a small family run hotel, which made us feel like we’re staying with family. From the cleanliness to the delicious breakfast and awesome customer service (arranging airport pickups, coffee, utensils etc) PLUS it was a 10 minute walk from “downtown” area where we coukd go shopping and eat at all different restaurants and for the highlight….the hot air balloons took off at sunrise right in front of the hotel so it made for amazing pictures! we really could not ask for a more pleasant stay. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Gutes Hotel für die Familie
Pros:

Ich fahr mit meiner Familie auf der Durchreise und wir sind eine Nacht dort geblieben. Im Ganzen kann man mit der Familie gut dortbleiben. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man schön Zeit verbringen und morgens frühstücken.

Lit et couverture très confortables. Malheureusement, les chambres ne sont pas très bien isolées donc si des clients sont bruyants, vous les entendrez. C'est le cas pour moi qui ait entendu le client au-dessus de ma chambre qui semblait agressif dans tout ce qu'il faisait dans sa chambre. Super emplacement. Belle terrasse sur le toit. Bon déjeuner le premier matin puisque plusieurs fruits et sources de protéines. Le second matin le déjeuner ne contenait pas autant de fruits. Un seul fruit et 2 seules sources de protéines. J'étais très déçu. Mettent à disposition tout au long de la journée une source d'eau pour remplir ses bouteilles puisqu'il fait très chaud.

Friendly and helpful staff - Hasan is excellent, we arranged all our activities etc through him, super fast and efficient.
Lovely breakfast, large variety of food. Hotel was clean and welcoming, room service and cleaning daily if required. Nice location, just off the main drag but close enough to walk the short distance to town.
A little tight with toilet paper, had to ask for more nearly every day, but that is the only negative.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Katapa Stone House.
