In La Briosa you felt the love and pride of the family that owns it and work as part of the hotel staff. The hotel received an architecture award for its wood construction which is really interesting and pleasing to the eyes. Loved the color combinations and fabrics that create a happy well-lit place to stay in the center of Bolzano. Welcoming faces and smiles in the reception, breakfast/cafe area and the cleaning crew. Breakfast options were excellent including à la carte eggs and coffee. The hotel offers convenient parking at a cost per night.
The pillows are too tall and hard for our taste. Unfortunately, we did not know we could request a softer pillow. The hotel has a cooling/heating system in the ceiling, during our stay they system was off and we had to slightly open our window to cool down the room, but then you can hear the voices of the people in the street (not very busy but it has some strange characters at night). We should have accepted the fan that Fabio offered us.

The room was huge with huge windows and full black out blinds, modern shower and separate toilet and even two sinks, plenty of space to put your things and hangers for your clothes. Breakfast was pretty good with friendly server. Room was quiet, really thick windows to block out the noise and they gave me a lovely room in the back. When I requested an extra towel for my hair, they gave it to me right away and brought it to the room. Lovely 12pm checkout time.
The lack of guest card included, for the price of the room, the hotel should provide the guest card. I wouldn't mind paying myself but we got attitude from the bus drivers when trying to pay as we got on (as we were instructed by the hotel). They said it's because they have so few rooms but still. It would also help if they give you instructions on how to pay for your own guest card but I was only told when I was leaving so it was too late. That caused extra stress.
La habitación es amplia, decorada con madera y espejos en muy buena combinación. El sistema de black out e insonorización es excelente. Muy buena ducha.
El desayuno es minimalista y no está acorde con el precio de la habitación. El sistema de comando de luces, muy futurista, termina siendo poco práctico y requiere muchos intentos de “ prueba y error” Se solucionaría muy fácilmente si agregaran una pequeña guía. Una lástima porque desmerece el confort de la habitación.
