Pros:

Perfect location in central area of Bolzano. Walkable location for sites, gondola, restaurants and shopping. Great staff. Laundry facilities a bonus! Get a parking spot if you have a car.

Pros:

The room was very spacious. Had a refrigerator and a table so that we could buy a few groceries such as cold cuts, bread, wine and cheese to enjoy if we didn’t want to dine out. Plenty of great places to eat nearby. We would stay there again.

Great for a family stopover.
Pros:

Wonderful, spacious rooms right on a great walking shopping street across from the Ötzi Museum. The city area of Bolzano has extensive walking streets with lots of activity. Great views and seems to be a center for cycling. Would definitely visit again.

We loved our stay at Palais Hortenberg. Everything was perfect, from the location across the street from the Archeological Museum where Otzi resides, to proximity to great restaurants, shopping, and the Funivia that takes you up into the spectacular hill country above the city. The hotel and staff were top notch. The bed was super comfortable and everything was high tech. This hotel is only 3 years old, and is equipped with the most modern of amenities. Would definitely recommend without reservation.

The location is very central, could walk everywhere. Good Restaurants nearby. My only complaint is that the sofa I slept on was a little hard.

Pros:

This was an impeccable and high-tech place. It took awhile to learn how the various buttons and features in the room worked. Maybe some signs or notice in the room to help guests with that would be beneficial.

Front desk staff were okay.

We loved our stay here. Very, very convenient location to restaurants, town square, shops and supermarket across the street.
The apartment has everything you need - kitchen with fridge, cooktop, dishwasher, kitchenware etc. Huge modern bathroom with double vanity. Spacious lounge area. Automated exterior shutters meant it was total pitch black block out. Large comfy bed. Tons of storage. AC - microwave - safe - security entrance - paid parking on site - elevator - 2 tvs - tea/coffee facilities.
Modern furnishings and fittings. Its perfect.

Pros:

We stayed the Palais Hortenberg as a jumping off point for a Dolomites trek. It was a very comfortable and convenient place to start off and return to. We were able to store our luggage, rest and relax in a spacious room, and enjoy breakfast on our lovely terrace. We were also able to do laundry on the premises which was a big help after a long hike.

Pros:

Very welcoming and comfortable hotel, right in the midst of old town and the pedestrian zone. We enjoyed eating breakfast on our private terrace and the spacious rooms. We stayed before and after a grueling trek in the Dolomites and the hotel was a comforting place to return to.
