Managed by a private host
Excellent little hotel
The room was clean and organized well. Would happily go back again.
The room was clean . The AC worked great. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't go to breakfast we had a busy weekend. Will definitely stay here again . The price was awesome
The hotel was good. Management was professional and the room was clean.
Review is poor! Will not stay here ever again
Nice hotel
Pillows, blanket and bed are very soft and comfortable.
New carpet, ice machines don’t work, breakfast weak, room is spacious, chair hard, bed comfortable.
Hotel is very clean and up to date. The beds are not as comfy as desired. Shower is nice and powerful and the bathroom is well lit. Breakfast did not have too many options. Overall it is a great hotel just need some fine tuning.
It was a great property and everything had been renovated.
Very quiet and looked new. Room very clean. Bed comfy.. What more is there?
Woke up with bed bugs at 1:30am. Called the front desk to report that. Their response was an “ok” with a pause like I was just letting them know. We loaded up and left and they said we couldn’t be refunded because Travelocity would have to refund us because we booked through them. Slept in the car. Thought we’d at least take advantage of the breakfast and it was terrible. Juice machine didn’t work. Coffee was cold. No salt or pepper. Waffle machine timer wouldn’t work and the batter smelled aweful. We should have slept in a different parking lot. We chose Springfield because I had a meeting there the next day and it’s the only place there. Hope I’m never back in Springfield.
Room was good; quiet, clean and comfortable. Pool was not operational.
Still in remodel and not very accommodating at this time. A/C was leaking water over the floor, not many towels in the bathroom, and employees were not able to do anything because the boss wasn't there.
There was no staff except for the people working on renovating the hotel. The front of the hotel had three shipping containers around it, and in the entrance was a collection of all the debris that had been thrown out during said renovation activities. The elevator was taped off for painting and dusty, and the floor that was supposedly available was also dusty and dirty from renovation activities. The key card for the room was made on the third floor where all the rooms were left open and unoccupied. I walked in....and promptly walked out.
Construction going on
We didnt even stay the night.
We got key to room, went inside, turned around and returned keys and left.
We arrived at 9:20 p.m.
There was no front door and the entire place was under construction. The floors were off, wires hanging from open ceiling, people laying areas of flooring or on ladders, front desk covered in a sheet.
There was a number on the desk that said to call if no one was at the desk.
After calling a man answered, he couldnt understand me and kept asking "oh you are here".
He came out of a room down the hall he must be staying in and talked to us. He explained he cant do check ins, only the manager can but the manager isnt there so he called him on his cell phone. He said the manager wanted to speak to me.
I took phone, the manager, who also couldnt understand me well, asked me how i was paying. I explained i paid in advanced. He told me "no we dont do that. We will need to see your card again". I told him i can show him my credit card statement that shows i did pay already. He eventually said he would "let the other man give me a room". All of this done over a cell phone BTW. The man gives me cards to a room. Doesnt check us in on computer, doesnt ask for anything but my first and last name, nothing. We were so tired. We drove 8 hours I had to be up at 6 a.m. i just needed to sleep. We get to room after man from desk WATCHES us and stands there while we open the door. It stinks. The smoke alarm had been removed and wires wwee out, hair and bugs in
No way to regulate temperature in room. If heat on, no matter how low you set the temp, it never shut off so the room got boiling hot. So turned off heat & just had fan blowing on low & woke up in the middle of the night freezing. Temp said it was 54 degrees! Turned heat on again & set at 64, but the heat consumed until it was extremely HOT in the room. Thank goodness we only stayed 1 night because we didn’t get much sleep due to regulating temperatures in the room all night.
Horrible. No one at the front to check me in. The house keeper didn’t know how to run the desk or make me a room key. He ended up giving me his master key. I paid for the king single bed and ended up with double standard that were hard as the floor. I heard kids and people the time I was there knocking and banging. Pretty sure people lived there. That night when I was attempting to go to sleep, someone was in the hallway fighting with their significant other cussing a screaming and slamming doors on my floor. I packed my stuff and threw the master key behind the desk and didn’t even stay the full night. I will never stay there again and do not recommend to anyone.
We didn't know the building would be stripped down to the bare necessities for a renovation occuring in a few days?! No breakfast as advertised. No smoke alarms.
