There is no one ever on the office. You have to call her personal cell to ask any questions. I was upset because the curtains are torn and it needs of touchup painting. Lots of stairs no elevator. The windows don’t open. I did not feel safe because the room has the electrical lock but that’s the only lock with No interior lock. Police sirens all throughout the night.
The property was great, super convenient for the marathon we were there for. Staff was nice and helpful. Parking option was wonderful easy access.
I stayed one night for Long Beach Marathon. This place is centrally located in downtown Long Beach. Room was clean and service was great. I would definitely stay here again.
The room had an amazing view, clean, and exactly what we needed. The ladies who helped us with our concerns were very nice! I really appreciated them!!
It was a really nice stay, perfect for the reason we traveled into Long Beach. The staff was very helpful with our stay. The rooms are clean.
Room was clean with amazing air conditioning. Nice little kitchen and bathroom as well. This is mine and my husband's second time staying with this hotel and it was a quiet and comfortable stay. It’s within walking distance to several locations, pier included. We look forward to our next stay with them!
This hotel was very nice and clean. We opted for a parking pass $15/night at a hotel a block away. It was a great location and efficient checking in/out since there's no "front desk", similar to VRBO/Air BNB
The place smelled like cat pee and our bags now smell like cat pee as well.
No staff is present after check-in and we had not where else to go.
Hotel was fine. It was clean and convenient to get to our cruise ship. The only thing we were not prepared for was that they do not have an elevator and we had to carry our 50 pound pieces of luggage up three flights of stairs.
Excellent choice for the value.
Stayed 1 night because of proximity to Catalina Express. I’ll start w/the pros - Location - short walk to dining/waterfront, keyless entry was very convenient. Concept - nice Cons- Execution flawed. No elevator-slepped to 3rd floor w/luggage. Refrigerator-food stains, Bathroom Vent-ton of dust, Ceiling light-dead bugs/stuff inside, Shower-old soap remnants, bathroom vanity - 1 of 3 bulbs out, Front door lock broken and a piece of tissue was stuffed into peep hole. For sanitary reasons made no attempt to remove it. Never got email with parking info although it was promised and paid for. Would not stay again for the price point.
The place was very conveniently located. Within walking distance to stores and nice restaurants.
Well to start, I didn’t get my entry code. But I was able to reach out to them and she quickly took care of me.
Love the historic building and it has been been decorated nicely.
The beds could be a bit more comfortable but I slept just fine.
Great visit and awesome hotel
Missing elevators
Ppp
The property was neat and clean, communication smooth. It’s a full self-service hotel, so there is no need to meet anyone at the check in and out.
The location was great and a walkable distance from/to the Convention Center.
The only negative part was a weird smell on a corridor, likely from a cleaning detergent.
A single Staff person is only available through limited daytime office hours . There is no elevator. The rooms are not cleaned unless you stay a minimum of seven days. There is no lobby. You get an access code via email in the morning of arrival, which operates the front door and your room door. The noise from the street was so bad I couldn’t fall asleep until 3 AM. The hairdryer did not work, but there was no staff on site or any available by phone. The water pressure in the shower was poor. I paid $170, was there for less than 24 hours, and I got about five hours of sleep. It’s not a hotel, it’s more like a Airbnb building built in 1922.
Nice hotel for one night before cruise. Located close to a restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store and liquor convenience store. Uber pickup by front door.
The location was ok, there was no staff on the property, extra blankets has stains on them. Food is limited. No elevator on property have to walk up stairs, inconvenient for people with luggage. Over all a quite place to stay but won’t recommend.
