Onsen Hotel and Spa

Extremely disappointing experience, particularly regarding the staff and the very low standards of service.

Two young staff members appeared to have been left in charge and behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner, even laughing behind our backs.

The jacuzzi water was unbearably hot, to the point where guests could not comfortably use it. When we asked for the temperature to be lowered, the staff insisted that nothing could be done, despite the manager having successfully adjusted it on our first day. Their dismissive attitude was unacceptable.

Breakfast was equally disappointing. The selection was extremely limited, essentially just bread and jam, with only an unpleasant orange-flavoured option available. When we asked about other flavours, we were told none would be provided. Even worse, a dirty knife appeared to have been left out from the previous breakfast, raising serious concerns about hygiene.

Overall, the level of service, cleanliness and professionalism fell far below what I would expect from a hotel and spa. Very disappointing, and certainly not somewhere I would choose to stay again.

Kamen kurz vor 18 Uhr im Hotel an. Niemand da. Nur ein Zettel mit dem Hinweis, dass die Rezeption nur bis 1630 Uhr besetzt ist. Keine Info dazu im Vorfeld per Mail oÄ. Unter der angegebenen Notfall Telefonnummer ging niemand ran. Von booking.com war zu dieser Uhrzeit auch keine Hilfe möglich, spät in der Nacht in Deutschland. Mussten dann andere Hotels abklappern um noch eine Übernachtung zu finden. Waren echt sauer auf Onsen und die Mitarbeiter dort! Geht gar nicht!!

TV was difficult to figure out if your not tech savvy.

De kamers werden helemaal niet schoongemaakt, zelf als ik er al 2x om had gevraagd werd er gewoon niet schoongemaakt. Iedere dag moest ik weer om schone handdoeken vragen... Het ontbijt is prima, maar ik miste iets van losse kaas/ham/kipfilet en het kant en klare ei was er alleen met kaas erin ipv zonder kaas...
Tijdens ons verblijf vonden de buren het ook heel leuk om mega hard muziek op te zetten waar wij wakker door werden. Al met al hebben wij geen prettige ervaring gehad met het hotel en zullen wij een volgende keer niet hier weer boeken.

1- sink water never got hot just warm. 2- shower pressure and temp is the same dial which means that hot is mixed with cold with low pressure to 'try' to get it hot. This only worked my 3rd shower. 3- same breakfast every day. Was told that it was always the same. Maybe find some imagination! 4- As a digital nomad, my fave thing to do in the desert is to work outside under a tree by the pools. This was my first time trying this place so I was sad to find there was no shade, no trees... and not until my 2nd day did Tracy offer to put an umbrella out for me. Recommend to change the space with better outdoor furniture and places to chill and hang. 5- system with booking.com caused me to have to give my credit card number over the phone in the wind - tired after driving - for 10 minutes.
