Loved the location and the convenience of the Londis nearby. Room was lovely and cozy
Not a big concern but lots of doors to get through once inside. It was hard to find the room initially and some doors were hard to open
Our campus residence room and shared kitchen and living room were very good. The campus itself is surprisingly large, with some impressive modern and early 19th century architecture. I recommend a walk around the rather forbidding grey granite Albert College building (circa 1838), which has the appearance of a military barracks. Opposite Albert College is Albert Park, which is open to the public. Indeed, during our one-night stay, the majority of the people we saw seemed to be local residents walking in Albert Park or through the campus. The 'Marie Celeste' feel to the campus was I was told because of 'Reading week', when students are sent home to study.
The campus felt very safe, which I explored by foot in the evening and early morning, before checking out. A Londis supermarket is on site and includes a very good pizza takeaway facility. The pizza takeaway closes at 7.30 pm on Saturdays, 30 minutes before the Londis shuts for business.
The campus is well-sited for regular bus services to Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport, the latter of which is relatively close.
Large sitting room with kitchen which came with 2 bedrooms we booked. Campus restaurant, bar and shop very close to complex. Perfect location if attending gig in Helix or taking part in tennis tournament in NTC.
Very hot inside apartament, heating hard to control.

I liked that for this price we had a private shower and toilet , shared kitchen that was well equipped, and even a terrace with tables. The grounds are very beautiful, and we checked in without any problems

Checkin closed when I arrived even though it was scheduled to be open. Rude security staff handled checkin eventually. Very noisy at night with party noise till 5am
