Kleine individuelle Unterkunft
Pros:

Wer es etwas individueller mag ist hier richtig - kleines Hotel mit 4 Zimmern und schöner Dachterasse. Ich hatte das Zimmer oben auf der Terasse direkt neben dem kleinen Pool ( schwimmen kann man da nicht drin - aber zum erfrischen perfekt ) und hatte die Beschreibung so interpretiert dass er zum Zimmer gehört - dem war nicht so - die Dachterasse war allen zugänglich und so gab es keine Privatsphäre- Vorhänge und BalkonTür muss geschlossen sein wenn man die anderen Gäste nicht sehen möchte. Würde beim nächsten Mal ein Zimmer I. Der 1 sten Etage mit Balkon nehmen . Das Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen war lecker . Die Lage super ruhig mit tollem Ausblick - und wer den Camino geht kommt am Ende gleich ins Hotel.

Cons:

Auf der Dachterasse gab es während meines Aufenthaltes keinen Sonnenschirm von daher war es nicht auszuhalten in der Sonne da es kein bisschen Schatten gab. Im Gegensatz zu den Balkonzimmern gab es draußen keinen Tisch und Stuhl wo man sich hätte hinsetzen können .

Cosy stay at the exit point from Caminito del Rey
Pros:

It's close to both the south exit of Caminito del Rey and El Chorro train station. If you're travelling by car, you can leave it at El Nido del Chorro and take the bus to the north entrance of Caminito del Rey. This way, you can finish your tour right where you left your car. We enjoyed a very good dinner after finishing our tour. The room was nice and cosy and the staff were very friendly. On top of the building you may enjoy a sunbath on the nice terrace with view, if the weather plays along. Free parking near the location.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we and other guests on tight schedules couldn't have breakfast as planned because the staff arrived very late in the morning, despite us arranging and discussing breakfast plans with them the previous afternoon.

One of the most memorable ‘happy place’ I’ve been in

Why go stay in that large touristy hotel nearby for your Caminito del Rey experience when you can have delightful, unique small stay exceptional home like accomodation just a few hundred metres away? El Nido almost made me cry with how charming it was. Tucked to the side, and away of the crammed tourist huh and buses and group tours for everybody
coming for day trips for the walk - these 4 bedrooms above the small one room dining area and bar were immaculately fresh, modern, bright, comfortable with a patio for each room that has you staring in awe ahead and upward as the cliffs face of the mountain is right THERE! The aircon, the bathroom, the lighting the bedding the furnishings so calming and relaxing after the bus and train rides and busy- ness of getting up to El Chorro. There is a small dipping pool and another amazing terrace with deck lounges one small flight up , again with that breathtaking view .
So quiet there. Walk the unmade rubble path down to the end of Caminito walk kiosks for a snack but definitely eat your breakfast and dinnerer in the gorgeous 20 or so seater restaurant that’s like being in your home kitchen - simple menu of pasta, burgers, soup, salads, cheese, pork cutlet were made so well by a team of local women in the kitchen.
This will be the most memorable place I will ever stay - I imagine myself coming back for quiet restoration- reading on that patio watching the sun move across the face of the cliff .

Oase in de bergen.
Pros:

Heerlijk dakterras met plungepool. Rustig gelegen in het dorpje aan het einde van de Caminito. Met de shuttlebus bus naar het begin. Wij hadden een tijdslot van 9.30 dan moet je wel de bus van 8.40 hebben. Hou er dan rekening mee dat je niet kunt ontbijten.
Restaurant is gevarieerd. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Stoelen op balkon zijn iets minder comfortabel.
