Very peaceful setting in the middle of a quiet marina. The perfect place to read your book on the deck from early morning and through to sunset. A pair of swans come for breakfast and dinner with the tide.
Nothing, but be aware of the tides. It really does go right out and changes the landscape dramatically but the water and the swans come back as the tide returns -fascinating to watch.
Great breakfast the extra touch of a bottle of Prosecco, which we drank whilst watching the sun set on the deck, was much appreciated. Bed was very comfortable and shower worked well. This a charming spot to relax and enjoy the wildlife and views. Great walks around the area and easy to access Emsworth and Chichester via taxi.

Sadly we missed the tides and just got to admire the mudflats! The whole area does dry out but does not smell
The location was stunning, the room was surprisingly spacious and well designed. I was able to walk directly out onto the deck and watch the sunrise over the harbour. It was so peaceful!
The bathroom was very small but its the price you pay for such a great cabin! There were some small stains on the sheets and only one toilet roll was provided for a 4 night stay. But they were small things, overall the experience was extremely positive!
The set out of the pod was perfectly done in the space provided, with all possible amenities. Superb location with many beautiful walks nearby.
The breakfast was a little disappointing - plenty of fruit and cereal but were a little disappointed that fresh pastries were not delivered daily as per the brochure - perhaps it might be better to have a selection of pastries and not just croissants as these are not to everybody's taste (myself in particular). it would have been useful to have a larger fridge but understand the space limitations.

Swans came up and poked their heads onto our deck for food it was the best!!! So beautiful!
Not so much didn't like but the bed is a sofa bed so you can use for chilling inside etc of you want
So it's not as comfy as a regular bed

This was an amazing stay will an expected surprise on arrival which was enjoyed on the decking as the sun set. Great communication, clean and super comfortable…will absolutely return! 5 ⭐️ stay, with some lovely morning visitors

We enjoyed the experience of staying here, which is what it is….an experience. I would and probably will stay again. The host also text me early to say we were welcome to check in and also gave us a late check out which was really lovely of them.

Such a great spot to spend a weekend. The Ark had everything we needed all of which was high standard. The lazy continental breakfast provided by Steph sitting on the pontoon watching the birds and boats was a particular highlight. A great spot to walk from too !
We loved everything and can’t wait to return. The location is stunning and it’s wonderful watching the scenery change with the tide. Steph is a fantastic host and the ark was beautifully designed and equipped.

Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay. It’s our 4th visit!! The ark has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. Sitting out on deck watching the birds, the tides and the sunrises and sunsets is so relaxing. Lovely food and drink at the huts just a few minutes walk away. Steph is so friendly and helpful too!! Can’t wait to go back!
