Friendly staff, the big bathtub breakfast i the room at the arranged time, the macha and coffee available and included, the hot and cold water machine.

Cons:

The lack of keys or keycards. Especially not being able to open my own door from the insider (had to ring the desk and they buzzed open every time), very strange and it gave a clostraphobic feeling.

Quirky and good location
Pros:

Quirky place to stay and good value considering it is in the heart of Umeda with loads of bars, restaurants and shops within a 1 minute walk away. Phone situation to get out of the room is actually fine. Liked the option of booking a karoake/ping pong room, pool table room, onsen during our stay.

Cons:

Bed and bathroom was clean but sides and tables in the room were dusty.
