Clean and comfortable hostel, good place to meet other travellers.

Good value, nice personal beds. The second time I stayed over.

Cons:

The kitchen area is not cozy at all. 2 years ago there was a nice couch to better socialize. Now its just a couple of chairs...

Pros:

Отличный гостевой дом, соотношение цены и качества. Место расположения очень удобное, близко от остановки транспорта, из окна открывается шикарный вид на гору "Сулейман Тоо".
Персонал очень вежливый и дружелюбный, всегда готовы помочь.
Есть кухня, очень чистая, где есть все необходимое для приготовления пищи.
В свободном доступе чай и кофе.
Также есть небольшой и уютный садик.

Double standards for Muslim and non-Muslim guests
Pros:

Location is a little hard to find and far from the main areas of town.

Cons:

The staff, while initially welcoming, tries to create problems for non-muslim guests while ignoring the behavior of Muslim guests. For instance, there was a loudly passionate unmarried Muslim couple known to staff for their antics, and another similar couple who was welcomed warmly by the owner before they did their debauchery and disturbed other guests. Yet I saw other guests turned away for double standards. You cannot hold non-Muslims to a higher standard than Muslims. Not a very professional owner or staff.

Pros:

This rooms are clean and the reception staff are helpful and friendly. Unfortunately it is very noisy mainly from cleaning staff banging doors etc early in the morning or speaking loudly later in the evening when showing new guests their room. We talked to reception on the first day/night but nothing seemed to change. In fact we checked out after the third night of disrupted sleep. It’s too bad as otherwise it is a good spot for the price. Location was particularly good for the center of town.
