Beware of super 8 in blythe
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable, but the door wouldn't stay shut, if someone walked by the door it would pop open. I chose this motel because it advertised a beautiful pool but after checking in the manager informed us the pool was not open.

Cons:

The manager couldn't seem to get my accomendations correct in the system. I booked using booking.com , but he was confused. Possibly on drugs. The price was more than the app said and he charged me for an extra room and he reassured me that he reversed the charges the mistake. Later when I got home the pending credit charge disappeared. The charges that he ran 3 times still appeared and went through.. not only that when I stopped in the office in the morning for directions to the nearest store the same guy started screaming at me telling me to get out of the lobby waving his arms violently. I left in tears not understanding why he was so aggressive towards me. I went back to my room and begged my boyfriend to please let's just leave now being so upset.

Cons:

I booked a room with two queen beds for my truck drivers because they needed separate beds after a long day on the road. When they arrived, the manager claimed that I had only booked a single-bed room, which was simply not true. It felt like an excuse to cover the fact that the property had been overbooked.

Instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, the manager tried to shift the blame onto the reservation. This created unnecessary stress and inconvenience for my employees. Poor customer service and a lack of accountability are not acceptable. I would not recommend staying here if you expect the hotel to honor the reservation you made.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Not worth the low cost of the room. Not a safe and secure room.

Cons:

Could not lock the door due to the strike plate being loose and not positioned properly. Used our luggage to barricade door at night for security and safety. Smoke alarm had been covered with wadded tissue paper. Only one wall receptacle worked in the room with one receptacle not secured to the wall (fire hazard). No continental breakfast as advertised, not even coffee. Pool not working. Bathroom towel rack bent down at a 40-degree angle. Only 1 washcloth and half roll of toilet paper provided. Both around the door and above the AC unit were gaps up to half an inch, (I measured) causing the AC unit to run all night. We checked out in the morning and went to another hotel in town. They wanted to charge us for another night because we were cancelling the room. In the end they didn't but we did get charged for the one night we stayed. Don't stay here dur to security and safety concerns.

Pros:

Price, cleanish, looks like it is remodeled. No bad smell. Clean lobby

Cons:

Bathtub, showerhead were old,dingy. Water was running in the restroom caused humidity. Bathroom window did not lock.door hard to lock and unlock. Thin stained sheets.

Very dirty and sketchy and false advertisement! Booked a room with breakfast but they don’t serve breakfast. Booked it for the pool but that has been closed for months. A lot of better options in the area! Don’t book here.

TOO DANGEROUS NO REFUND
Pros:

My sister and I planned and wonderful Easter weekend in a town our mother lived in for many years to celebrate her life (she passed away)we chose the hotel close to her old home. We pulled in the parking lot, when I walked up to the office I saw a man staring at me from the balcony. He didn't stop, in fact he followed me to the office. I watched Hispanic gang members whistle to him and had my room key but was afraid to get out of the car. The man kept harassing us. I ran to the office and said we are afraid to get out of our car (two females) their were prostitutes walking through the back of the hotel. The front desk, agreed to a refund. I never got it. Booking.Com refused to process the refund. I want my money back. We were forced to pay another Hotel (2 days were paid) and this is so unfair. We were not safe and this is against the law to not refund my money within 24 hours in California. I certainly hope that someone will do something because it doesn't matter how much a lawsuit will cost if I can warn young women to never go to this hotel. It's extremely dangerous!!!

Pros:

I liked how clean it was inside and it didn’t look the same as many other hotels around in that area. It was above the standards than most regular.

Cons:

I didn’t like that it advertised that it had a breakfast at this location and I contacted the place and they also said there was a light breakfast and there was never any breakfast at this location. I usually choose locations with a paid breakfast to help with traveling with my family and to get them all fed up before we take off, and I couldn’t do that at this location. Also the microwave was not connected and we had to move around the structure to get that connected and it took longer than usual to find an outlet so we ended up picking up the microwave and using it on the restroom sink.

I made a reservation for 1 person for 3 nights, when I check in, they say there are no single rooms available, They let me stay in a double bed room for one night telling me they will have a single room the next day.when I returned to the hotel,they tell me there are no rooms available and are so sorry.So now ,I have to run around town looking for another hotel.I made this reservation 3 weeks in advance, I think it's illegal to ask someone to leave their room just to give it to someone else. Not sure if I'm being charged for this, now I have to check my account to see if I'm being charged. I went back to try and get a receipt for my stay and to make sure they cancelled the remaining days, they said the only way to get a receipt was to contact Booking. com. I want to thank the people at Days inn,even though they did not have a single room available, they let me stay in a double for 2 nights.I promise this will be the LAST TIME I use Booking.COM,I won't be recommending your site to anyone. Speaking to an attorney now about this.Please explain all of this. This is the service you offer? Please Contact Me.Issue me a receipt,
