Nice location and surroundings.
The WiFi didn't work at all anywhere, which was very disappointing.
There was also no mobile coverage, which was more what you could expect.
Fab location with loch and hills right on your stop. Nice vibe in bar with life bands. Does food too! Pod well equiped, crokery, micro, kettle....would have been handy if it was filled on arrival though!
Ourdoor space at pod not great. No hot water for washing dishes. Nobody seemed to know about bus times. Route to toilet facilities not direct, you need to go up to come back down. Towels had seen there best and a bit mismatched. For info/planning: Return taxi to aviemore £ 20

Great pod
Lovely location, helpful staff
The bar/ restaurant was good too
Amazing location - so many hiking routes on your doorstep and perfect for a car-free trip as the number 30 bus runs directly here from Aviemore station. The pod was warm, comfortable and had all the facilities I needed. Surprisingly quiet too given proximity to the bar and nearby campsite. Bar is also a great place to chill out in the evenings - really lovely staff and a nice laid-back atmosphere. Will definitely be back! :)
The door handle to get into the communal toilet/washing facilities is very small and a bit fiddly to get the door open. Wifi also doesn't work in the pods and the mobile reception in the area is patchy at best, so you'll probably need to go to the bar to get online or make any phone calls - not a big problem for me but something for visitors to be aware of!
Very lovely! Beautiful park to walk around.
The organisation of the stay was incredibly easy. A few questions to the accommodation about specifics and also bike storage were answered and provided on arrival beyond expectations. The staff were then excellent all night in the pub and at breakfast. Super chill, friendly and the sort of people you want in a pub in an outdoor community.
The stay was great price, facilities were super and the staff stored and charged some of the bikes over night.

Loved the bar, restaurant, live music and the cute wee pod!
the journey to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But honestly, it was worth it!
The location was absolutely beautiful, it was private, clean and handy for the cafe.
Toilet facilities were shared and a bit of a distance for in the night.
Menu in the cafe wasn't great and it was expensive, although staff were helpful.
Excellent base for exploring in the Cairngorms, having the odd chat, and being in nature without having to bring your own gear/set up. There is a bar/restaurant just a few steps away, a beautiful Loch with plenty of beach and trails, and the Cairngorms just a 10 min drive (or bus ride) away. Be aware if you're taking the bus to/from the spot in either direction - they can come 10 min early, late, or (even worse!!) not at all. But that is not a reflection AT ALL on the property, just something to be aware of!
The pods could definitely do with a bit of airing out, but that's probably an inevitable result of summer exploration. As you're just a few steps from the bar, you can hear a bit of noise, but you also have to pass by everyone if you want to use the toilet/shower in the morning or evening.
The wifi is housed in the bar and doesn't quite reach the pods. You have to use it in/around the bar, but it's also unsecured and there is zero cell signal in Glenmore, so all patrons are fighting to use whatever bandwidth they can. I'd recommend:
- already having a plan (hikes, timetables, destinations)
- already having downloaded all your music/podcasts/etc
- come prepared to be off grid (no doomscrolling before bed)
and bring slippers so you can comfortably walk to/from the toilets :)
Bar staff were extremely kind and helpful! Enjoyed being so close to the venue, the food and live music were brilliant. It was great to be close to nearby walks as well. Made it so easy to get up and start our day. Thank you!
Bunk beds were a little uncomfy, but to be expected and not a big deal!
The room suited our requirements.
All though we knew there was a 2minute walk to the facilities,it was not a pleasant experience walking up and down wet steps in the middle of the night, even when they well light.
