Pros:

The location was perfect. At the lake and very close to the plaza. The service was excellent. I would stay there again.

The pillows where a bit too high and hard. Everything else is fine.

Séjour mitigé : belle destination, mais chambre moins conforme qu’attendu

L'emplacement au centre ville

Cons:

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec balcon côté lac, mais la chambre attribuée donnait principalement côté ville, avec seulement une vue partielle sur le lac depuis le côté gauche du balcon.
Le séjour a également été fortement perturbé par la fête de la Nuit Blanche : un concert avec DJ avait lieu directement sous notre fenêtre. La chambre étant ancienne et très mal isolée, le bruit était très important et nous n’avons pas pu nous reposer correctement.
Enfin, j’avais choisi cet hôtel notamment pour son parking intérieur. Or, sur place, nous avons découvert qu’il n’était pas accessible en moto et qu’il était en plus payant.

Willkommen auf der Sonnenbank der Schweiz
Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut mit reichlicher Auswahl. Mit dem gratis Ticino Ticket war man schnell in Ascona und Umgebung. Vor dem Haus gab es für die Motorräder kostenfreie Parkplätze.

Gerne immer wieder. Ideal für einen Kurzurlaub.
