Relaxing, beautiful stay in a beautiful town with my family
Pros:

The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms were spacious. The property was well maintained and staff were professional and accommodating when we requested to extend our stay by one night. Breakfast was wonderful with a myriad of buffet and hot meal options.

Lovely old style hotel
Pros:

What a charming hotel. Loved the comfortable seating in the lounge and the personal service. Dinner was delicious, breakfast was huge - kept us going all day. Wished we could have stayed for more than 1 night. Next time for sure.

It was clean . The staff were friendly.

Cons:

We were in the outer buildings. It was really outdated . Old fashioned . 2 biscuit s on a saucer wrapped in cellophane! Just don’t put them out … or maybe they were left from the last guests .. who knows ? Very overpriced. Breakfast was okay

A pleasant surprise
Pros:

We liked the room it was big and very comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space.The bathroom was very good with an easy to operate shower and bath.

Cons:

The dining room / lounge were very quiet and would have benefitted from some quiet background music.
