Pros:

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, well furnished and very clean. Breakfast was continental as one would expect with an excellent choice of meats and cheese. The bread rolls were delicious! Evening meals were available from Wednesdays to Saturdays. The evening menu is not large but the food was superbly cooked and nicely presented. We chose to eat at the hotel every evening that the restaurant was open. Other Guesthouses in the village were open on the nights the restaurant was not open, but booking is recommended. All those we used were very good. The hotel is in a beautiful valley. There was excellent walking in the area for the reasonably fit and pleasant strolls around the village and valley floor for those of limited fitness. A Kronos card available from the hotel allowed free train and bus travel, which we used to take the train from Schluchsee/Aha to Freiberg (You must have ID with you e.g. Passport or photo-driving licence).

Très bon accueil, très bon restaurant. Les gérants sont toujours sympathiques et à l'écoute.
La possibilité d'utiliser la salle de musculation, la salle privée pour prendre un verre, le coin lecture sont un plus.
