No breakfast was included in our stay
Everything was really good
Thought it was closed down when I arrived but this is only due to refurbishment taking place. Parking was very unclear.

Breakfast would be nice
No fuss. I was sent details and clear instructions to get access to my room well in advance.
The shower was weak, the TV remote didn't work. If I was meant to get access to WiFi I didn't know it as I never saw a member of staff or received WiFi details. Location wise it wasn't quite what I expected (booking.com said it was 150 yards from Burghead which is where I tried to get accommodation for but it was about 2.5 miles)

Says there was hotel car parking but it's not clear where these spaces are and looks like a rubbish area out back...but on street parking is fine

Gloomy decor. No chair. Feeble shower.
The location was close to the harbour and had stunning views from the harbour. The price for the room was low which for the time of year was great for my expenses.
The room needed updating and new carpets put in.
When I first went into the room there was a musty smell but after an hour with the window open the smell went away.
The shower was a little dirty and discoloured due to age I think. I can see there is some work going on outside so I assume that the hotel is under newish management and they are working on a full refurbishment of the whole hotel.
To be honest I was happy though in general.

Coming out the door straight onto the metal staircase makes me nervous.
Clean, quiet, easy self check-in, private parking, good value for room wih ensuite bathroom.
A bit basic, for example no towel rails or hook on bathroom door to hang washbag etc. Took a while for shower to heat up but plenty of hot water when it did. But for the price, good value.
Room was clean and conveniently situated.
No breakfast. No soap or shower gel. No hairdryer. No communication face to face.
