Super!
Pros:

Perfect
Pros:

We arrived quite late in the evening, the hotel staff had recognised this and the kitchen staff held on for us to order a meal at the end of service.
Really thoughtful and much appreciated.

Cons:

All good.

Something different - a great spot for an affordable treat
Pros:

The room was great, with the hot tub overlooking the band stand and the sea. The decor is quirky, and the room is cosy and comfortable, very clean with mod cons (fridge, coffee machine, portable radio). Well worth the price. The bar and restaurant downstairs does lovely cocktails and the food is good too. All the staff were friendly.

Pleasant
Pros:

Very disappointing. No breakfast!! Information said breakfast not included NOT unavailable. Difficult in parking

Cons:

Quite rundown in places. No bedside lights. Nobody on reception. Told contact bar staff. How at 8am when everywhere is closed and locked??. The toilet seat in our room did not fit the toilet which made it very uncomfortable.

Pros:

Room was a good size, location was great.

Cons:

No shower caps and no hand towels - with the overhead shower, a shower cap to stop my hair getting wet would have been great. May have been an oversight but there was only one hand towel so I had none to wrap my hair in after the shower

Not the place for us
Pros:

The staff we encountered were friendly.
Location on main sea front - however this in itself came with parking & noise problems.
Rooms quite nicely decorated.
Bed comfy. Good shower.

Cons:

Arrived to no one at reception - had to find bar staff to see where we could leave our cases.
No reception staff after 6pm.
TV in room did not work and we wanted a fan but no one about to ask apart from bar staff who were extremely busy.
NOISE LEVELS - not just The Palms own bar but neighbouring venues is unbelievable and goes on until 2.30am at the weekends. Pre warned of this via email after we had already paid to stay.
PARKING -is a nightmare. I would suggest when sending out the noise warning email you add in some info about parking in the town and what payments are required.
ROOM LIGHTING - the lighting to get ready is exceptionally poor in the main bedroom and bathroom.
General Hot Tubs were out of action.
View from room 105 looks over another roof / building with windows looking down on you if you want to keep the blinds open to let in light.

Cons:

I was hoping to use the hot tub, but it was out of order. The hot tubs at Seawater saunas were complimentary though.

Pros:

The room and the tun

Cons:

Could use a fan/ac. Supplying more water to the room would be great, even if it was charged.
