The way Mr. Aslam, the property Manager takes care of the guests is absolutely commendable. He is warm, extremely knowledgable, ever ready to help and find solutions for every guest. He is a treasure trove on local lore and legend and a pleasure to talk to. He runs the place with quiet efficiency. Right from an auto-rickshaw, suggestions for places to see and a taxi he has it all sorted. It was a joy to stay here. The room was beautiful and traditionally done with an amazing view of the sea.
We were happy to spend time at the resort but the menu at the restaurant was rather limited with hardly any vegetarian/vegan traditional options.
The room was good and the view was also great. The room was clean and the staffs were helpful.
In cottage rooms the door locks are old and need to be replaced. The food in the restaurant was poor. Breakfast was very ordinary and not up to the expectation.
We had an amazing stay, views of the sea from our balcony and the setting is incredible, as was the room. Aslam and the staff were so helpful with all we needed too - would definitely recommend
Okay, I seriously can’t stop thinking about my stay at Maadathil Cottages — it was amazing. From the moment I got there, it felt like paradise. The view? Unreal. The beach was literally right there, just a few steps from my cottage, and the water was so clear and beautiful. I could’ve spent the whole day just laying on that soft sand.
The vibe at Maadathil Cottages was super peaceful and chill. The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel so at home. My cottage was cozy, super clean, and had this dreamy little balcony where I’d sip coffee and watch the sunrise — total bliss.
And the food? Oh my god. The seafood was insanely fresh, and every meal felt like a treat. Plus, the local flavors and tropical drinks? So good.
But honestly, it was the little things that made it special — beach walks at sunset, listening to the waves at night, just completely unwinding. It was exactly the escape

The cottage has a bit of difficult access for cars and tuktuks, but it's manageable.

It is an exceptional beautiful view and the resort is well maintained and kept clean and the room is exactly same as website display. Breakfast is mostly continental and basic stuff, menu is limited but freshly made. Resort approach road is a little off beat and need to drive very carefully because its on cliff, which we will not expect. Overall worth it. Once in a lifetime experience. Loved every part of it.
Nothing as such but breakfast menu can have more options as they r making it on order.
