Overall JFTL Property is very good. Must visit and also revisit property.
Pros:

• The manager Sushil da's guidance and personal attention truly enhanced our experience at JFTL Resort.
Nice hospitality, rooms neat and clean, food very tasty & hygienic, excellent overall experience.Rooms set in a lovely garden. Comfortable bed.

Bad experience in quality of food.
Pros:

Their resturent and food quality is not good.
charge is very high.
Like simple maggie they're charging Rs 120/
There is no thali system provided.lunch /dinner you should order each item that is very expensive.

How they charge.
I would prefer next time not to stay here.
Location is very bad.from Jaldapara main gate it is 4-5 kms far away.there is no Shop.
In jaldapara main gate Aronnyo Tourist Property (govt of west bengal)is the best.
I want to book Aronnyo Tourist Property but booking dot com suggest me Jaldapara Forest tourist Lodge.
Very very bad experience.
I suggest booking dot com not to provide this hotel.
There cost is two days in booking dot com for stay Rs -5832/ they charge me extra GST Rs 699/ this is very bad.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jaldapara Forest Tourist Lodge from May 23rd to 24th, 2025, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Our family of 10 members was warmly welcomed by the incredibly hospitable Mr. Sushil, who ensured our stay was nothing short of exceptional.
The rooms were beautifully maintained, offering breathtaking scenic views that added to the charm of our stay. The lodge's surroundings, nestled in the heart of nature, provided a serene ambiance that was perfect for relaxation.
The culinary experience was outstanding, thanks to the talented cook who prepared delicious and fresh meals that delighted our taste buds. The food was a highlight of our stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal.
We also appreciate the cooperation and support extended by Mr. Chamak Banerjee, who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.
Overall, we had an amazing time at the Jaldapara Forest Tourist Lodge, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. The hospitality, scenic beauty, and delicious food make it an ideal destination for families and nature lovers.

Ideal beautiful place to stay with all the comforts and full facilities
Pros:

This property is perhaps the most comfortable place to stay while visiting the Jaldapara Game reserve....wonderful in every way....friendly staff and great facilities with large air con rooms and hot water showers and a full service restaurant...a perfect retreat from the simplicity of rural India.... surrounded by tea plantations and forests of trees that produce betel nut, the favorite mild narcotic of many local people in India.

Cons:

My only problem was the location perhaps 4 or 5 kilometers from the game reserve with no transport to get there...I often had to walk back and forth but sometimes found a local rickshaw. As I am in my late 70s, this was somewhat stressful.

Everything about this place is just awesome. Beautiful location, serene, tranquil in the midst of nature. Stuff polite helpful, tasty food, fresh crisp air. I really liked this place

Cons:

About half km kuchcha road when your car leaves the black bituminous road is really bad and also there should be more prominent signage from the junction where you leave NH317 otherwise you may end up reaching the WB Forest Tourist Lodge 1km ahead

Misleading name Jaldapara Tourist Lodge WBTDC is the property I wanted to book, but mislead by JFTL.
Pros:

Friendly staff and food.

Cons:

1.Regular eraly morning power cuts and inefficient genarator back up system.
2.The resort is connected by a mud road to the main road,which is not walkable.
3.Safari booking was not easy.

Situated in a village close to the Park, where we could walk and watch beautiful birds.
Rooms based in a nice green compound.
Very good restaurant.
The hotel arranged a safari tour for us in advance.
