Odyssey Stays Nongriat - 3Kms trek from Main Road

I think we had made a very good decision to stay in this homestay. The trek to Double Decker bridge was tiring and we had decided to halt to further go ahead to Rainbow Falls.

This homestay is very close to the Double Decker bridge after we take the entry ticket. Hence we could sit near the bridge for more time. We also came early in the morning as it was so close.

The family at this property was very nice. We had a good time with the kids in the family and our stay was well spent. I must say that the food here was very good. We had veg and non veg local dishes for dinner and egg and veg sandwiches for breakfast. All of them was amazing and the coffee was also great. We were very happy with the experience here. The family maintaining this property are really good.

This is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever. The most peaceful and clean hometay I’ve ever had. They are very welcoming and accommodating to our late arrival Great hospitality! If you are heading down to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, this is easily the best place to stay given the remote location. It’s simple and the facilities are basic, but it offers a truly authentic experience.

The vibe is incredibly homely, but I have to warn you—the food is a total betrayal! It is too good, and you’ll find yourself wanting to overeat right before you need to tackle the stairs to the bridge. If you want a grounded, welcoming spot to rest your legs, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommended!

Stay was just basic. But good for the location. The caretaker and family were good and provided good meals.

I highly recommend people trekking to the double decker to spend the night here at this homestay. It is a very unique experience. The fresh clean air, natural clean water, home cooked meals and the double decker living root bridge just 50m from here. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Ohh what a lovely experience it was. Far away from all the noise and pollution. The food prepared here was better than any expensive restaurant and I am not exaggerating this. The water was pure spring water. The homestay is closest to the Double Decker bridge and there are many rooms available here for couples, families and solo travelers. The hosts Mr. Constantine and his wife are very humble people. Thank you so much for this experience 💗
