Pros:

Stay was just basic. But good for the location. The caretaker and family were good and provided good meals.

Cons:

The Odyssey staff was rude and cancelled our booking without any notice. We had similar bad experiences from Odyssey staff from their Mawlynnong property as well. Please do not book any property from Odyssey. They will cancel without any notice and won't pick our calls.

Pros:

I highly recommend people trekking to the double decker to spend the night here at this homestay. It is a very unique experience. The fresh clean air, natural clean water, home cooked meals and the double decker living root bridge just 50m from here. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Pros:

Ohh what a lovely experience it was. Far away from all the noise and pollution. The food prepared here was better than any expensive restaurant and I am not exaggerating this. The water was pure spring water. The homestay is closest to the Double Decker bridge and there are many rooms available here for couples, families and solo travelers. The hosts Mr. Constantine and his wife are very humble people. Thank you so much for this experience 💗

We had a great time at this simple homestay. The host family were very humble and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The homestay is located very close to the living root bridge. If you want to experience simple life of Khasi people then we recommend this place for you. Would love to come here again.

It was a very unique experience staying with the Khasi people. Their warm hospitality made us felt like home. The homestay overall is simple with basic amenities and is closest to the Double Decker root bridge. Amazing.
