Great for a day trip
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, with variety and some local products. The location is great for exploring the town of Horta, and we can find several good restaurants nearby. The bathroom has all the necessary amenities

Cons:

Unfortunately, and this has happened to me at another hotel on the island, there are cockroaches. It's something we have to live with when we visit Faial. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, and that might be a problem for some people.

Pros:

a localização muito boa.

Cons:

O duche estava quebrado , luz na casa de banho parcial , meia luz apenas, mosquitos no quarto . Pequeno almoço pouca variedade e não foi reposto ovos assim que eu cheguei .

Pros:

Clean. Perfect location for the city. Basic breakfast. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

The hotel is a 1-star hotel, so don't expect too much. There's no hairdryer. The room is a bit run-down, but clean.

oud hotel; maar heel proper.

heel centrale ligging!

Dank voor de gratis upgrade: ik kreeg een kamer met zeezicht met fantastisch uitzicht op de jachthaven van Horta!!!!

We only had a short time in Horta. Hotel São Francisco helped make it a nice visit.
Pros:

The breakfast was lovely. I was very happy that we could open the window! The room was nice, not a generic hotel room. Quiet. Beautiful old building. Really friendly helpful staff. I slept well. Great location for our needs.

Cons:

The shower head had issues, partially broken. The pillows were not great. Person in the room next door was smoking at their window, so we had to close our window.
