Good People, Bad Management – A Disappointing Stay
Pros:

The hotel staff and the property owner were very welcoming and genuinely hospitable. The breakfast was quite simple but delicious. The location was also very convenient, being close to the lake. They have their own travel agency as well, so you can easily arrange various activities and trekking directly through them.

Cons:

However, the hotel itself is quite old and seems to have passed its prime. It is run entirely by a family with very few staff, and the overall management is not up to the mark. Although the staff were polite and friendly, the room management was disappointing. Upon check-in, I was informed that the AC in the room was not working. While they did offer a discount, I had not booked a non-AC room in the first place.
Cleanliness was a major concern. There were visible stains on the bed and towels. The floor felt sticky and sandy. Most disturbingly, I found a dead, flattened fly under the pillow, something that clearly indicates the bed linen had not been changed for a long time.
There was only one power socket near the bedside, which was already occupied by a standing fan. I had to charge my phone from a higher socket, leaving it hanging awkwardly.
Overall, I am quite disappointed. It is a beautiful property with great potential, but poor management is holding it back, which is truly unfortunate.

Mesmerizing
Pros:

Best View and amazing hospitality by the owner and staff. Very family friendly hotel.They treated us like their relatives.

Excellent Family Stay!
Pros:

Our two-day family stay was made perfect by the exceptional service at this hotel. From the moment we checked in, the staff was attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. It is rare to find such a cooperative and welcoming team. The rooms were great, but the hospitality is what will bring us back. Thank you for a lovely stay! Special thanks to the owner couple.

Pros:

选择这家非常满意，因为是距离赛瓦湖最近的一家，还可以看到雪山。阳台非常舒服，三角梅从一层爬到了五层，景色相当可以。而且在主街上，出行不要太方便。老板可以联系滑翔伞。酒店房间超大，床品很棒，老板一家给与了最好最贴心的服务。博卡拉性价比最高！

Perfekt läge mot sjön och trevlig personal!
Pros:

Ett familjeägt hotell som är otroligt familjärt! Familjen var väldigt hjälpsamma, trevliga och omtänksamma.
De lagar en god frukost till en varje morgon, restaurangen på hotellet ligger precis intill en mysig gata med utsikt över den fina sjön. Hotellet har ett bra läge och ligger inom gångavstånd till de flesta trevliga restauranger och butiker.
Rummen var också väldigt fräscha med en fin balkong som också hade utsikt över sjön.
Hotellet arrangerade väldigt smidigt en tur/hike till oss, de verkade ha många alternativ att välja på vilket är ett plus. Guiden var toppen dessutom!

Rekommenderar starkt!

I absolutely loved the location of this property — it’s very convenient and close to everything. The breakfast was amazing and the food was very authentic and delicious.

What truly made my stay special was the hospitality. The owners are incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming. They make you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. specially the aunt by the time you’re having a breakfast, she will come. She’ll ask you She will greet you. She will seat with you.

Even the location is the perfect I love you from the balcony is the best.

Out of all the properties I have seen, this one stands out as the best. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with warm hospitality and great food, this is definitely the place to choose. Highly recommended! 🌟

Pros:

Great location with fantastic views of both the lake and the mountains! Book a lakeside view and you will be amazed by the view! Owners are super friendly and ready to chat and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location and friendly service, but the overall experience felt more basic than expected
Pros:

The hotel is in a good location, very close to Fewa Lake. I booked a family room, and it had a nice view of the lake from the window. Not all rooms have this view—only one room on each floor faces the lake. Breakfast was excellent, and the owner was friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

The internet connection in the room was poor, so I had to rely on mobile data. Given the price, the amenities did not meet my expectations. The lake-view rooms are located near the road, so while the view is great, traffic noise at night can be an issue for light sleepers. Overall, it felt more like a guest house than a hotel.

Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Himalayan Vacation. Everything was very good from start to finish. The host was extremely kind, helpful, and very friendly, which made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout our stay.
The food was excellent—fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and pleasant.
I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pokhara. I would definitely stay here again.
