I loved my stay at Cozy resort. The rooms are very well-furnished, so I had plenty of space to unpack and get comfortable for a multi-week stay. The family who owns the place is lovely, and the shared kitchen and common spaces were perfect.
A scooter is definitely nice because the location is a bit further from the beach, but I didn't mind the walk.
Super beautiful and quiet place. Ushan has been the most kind, efficient and respectful host. His family is extra sweet and the space itself has a lot to offer with a beautiful shared space. Would definitely come back !
Nothing really. Great value for money.
Very hospitable hosts treated me like a family. Rooms are simple, clean and nice. Kitchen is equipped very well. Very quiet area with jungles around. Monkeys, birds, mongooses, lizards are close to observe. The best area for intermediate surfing in walkable distance
Lovely family run stay with big and new rooms - facilities are perfect for a short or long stay. less than 10 minute walk to the restaurants, shops and beach.
Beautiful homestay In Midigama. I stayed here for 3 weeks and Ushan and his family were very kind and I felt really at home. I liked it because of it's quiet location and you also have all cooking facilities there to use. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Thank you ushan for your family's kindness and hospitality.
Only think I would add would be a washing line to dry clothes on.

Recommendations: the beaches in Midigama are good for swimming and nicer than in Ahangama, I thought. Go have breakfast at Mr Sunils Roti and Juice Shop and/or Mermaid's kitchen in Ahangama.
Everything! There's a super large chill space upstairs with a free to use kitchen. The room was very clean and bright.
Ushan and family have been so welcoming and caring. A home away from home
Felt warmly welcomed by Ushan, the owner. The rooms were nicely decorated, with taste and gave us a homy feeling. There is a nice area to relax, and his mom is really loving. It is a bit out of the busy area of midigama, so a nice place to rest and chill.
Surrounded by tall trees and lush vegetation, Cozy Resort is located in a quiet area just a 7 min walk from the beach. On the way, you’ll pass by cafes and local fruit vendors, and quaint residences. Our host, Ushan, made us feel very welcomed and was very helpful. My 6 year old enjoyed observing the wildlife from the garden where two beautiful jackfruit trees tower.
We absolutely loved our stay here! Ushun was extremely helpful and made us feel right at home! The resort is really easy to get to plus it’s it is in the jungle! There is space for cooking as well if you like!
