Pros:

Pros:

Posizione ottima, in fronte mare anche se non essendo illuminata la strada di notte non si può uscire. Locale storico. La cameriera di cena e colazione molto gentile.

Cons:

La camera è appena stata rinnovata, passando più al design che alla comodità. Minuscola, con nessuno spazio dove appoggiare valigie e vestiti. Le finestre hanno dei vetri molto sottili da cui entra molta aria fredda, abbiamo dovuto creare una barriera con asciugamani e coperte. La cosa peggiore però era la pulizia, veramente scarsa. Inoltre in Booking c è scritto che la cena è a 15€, e noi l’abbiamo aggiunta! Peccato però che la cena si paga a parte, e nonostante sia stata veramente buona, è il posto più caro dell’isola. 57€ per un antipasto, una birra e un piatto unico, tutto da dividere in due. Mai più. Il signore all’accoglienza, probabilmente il proprietario svogliato, poco interessato alla nostra presenza o confort.

A special place in a special part of Skye
Pros:

The location is outstanding. We were lucky to see two superb sunsets from the tables right by the shore. The Inn itself is quirky/cosy and the food is excellent - the mussels in particular. But the weekend was made by the staff. Santiago made us feel like old friends from the moment we arrived. He was upbeat, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Stefan takes a little longer to warm up but is great fun once you get him going! Everyone made a fuss of our labrador and she thoroughly enjoyed her stay.

Cons:

Our room, Hallin, was small. It was especially small for two people and a dog. I would say it's more a single than a double room. We had a sneak peek at other rooms while they were being cleaned and they looked wonderful. I would book Geary the next time, if it is available.

Great place to stay in Skye
Pros:

Really friendly staff, servers were really knowledgeable about wine and whiskey. Food was incredible and really accommodating to food alergies.

Some improvements needed
Pros:

The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the staff were wonderful. The dinner staff went above and beyond. We loved the loch view from our room and there was a great selection of teas and coffee bags. The free parking was great. The bed was comfortable and there were a good range of toiletries provided. The breakfast was good (although missing beans and a tattie scone)!

Cons:

The room was not very clean - the mugs had evidence of heavy use from the previous occupants (sugar and a hair) which was off putting. There was a hair and a tag on the bathroom floor as we walked in and the dust on the books by the bed was horrifying. The bedding was quite bobbly and needs replacing. The headboard could also be replaced by a softer, material one rather than the hard wooden one. Overall the pub and room felt quite cluttered and we believed that the chaotic decor deducted from the charm of the inn. The small kettle in the room needs to be replaced with a full size kettle that does not need detaching from the wall whenever it needs filling. The breakfast room was cold with a ripped up floor that did not feel very inviting.

El trato personal. Nos atendió Santiago y fue todo un encanto. Nos hizo sentir como en casa. Comida muy buena pero algo cara. Se puede aparcar cerca del hotel. Habitación muy coqueta.

Pasamos algo de frío en la habitación. Había poca luz.

Incroyable
Pros:

Lieu et accueil exceptionnel !
Simple et efficace les pieds dans l'eau!
Des petites attentions très sympa dans les chambres.
Décoration totalement improbable mais l'on se sent chez soi à la seconde ou l'on passe la porte d'entrée! Nous reviendrons un jour c'est certain!
