Poor value for money, I wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

Cool and interesting interior both in the pub and in the room.
Good shower and toiletries.

Cons:

The bed was very small, and uncomfortable.
The central heating was turned on, and it could not be turned off. The room was 25°C+, and it made it difficult to sleep. Other guests complained about the same issue at breakfast the next morning.
The window lacked midge netting and we couldn’t get fresh air without letting all the bugs in.
The sliding door to the bathroom was a minus and didn’t offer much privacy.
The staff were not initially welcoming, and service was slow.
Our orders were frequently wrong.
The only place on our trip where service charge was added to our food and drinks bill automatically.
We were asked for full payment before we had seen the room which is unusual.

This was a very cosy and interesting Hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

It was located in a quite remote area on the Isle of Skye. The meals in the hotel were very good and the breakfast offered was excellent, cooked fresh.

Sehr schöne Lage und freundlicher Service.
Sehr cosy. Aufgrund des Alters der Herberge sind die Zimmer extrem klein, aber schön und geschmackvoll renoviert.
Wir waren 4 Tage mit Hund in einem kleinen Zimmer, das erfordert ein bisschen Flexibilität, geht aber sehr gut.
Alles in allem eine Unterkunft mit Charme. Wer Neubau Facilities erwartet ist hier sicher fehl am Platz, für alle anderen ein sehr einmaliges Schottland Erlebnis.
Tolles Frühstück und sehr gute Meeresfrüchte.
Gute Wandermöglichkeiten in der nahen Umgebung und fantastischer Ausblick.

Pros:

Beliggenheten til kroen var helt fantastisk - alle rom var vendt ut mot den lille vik nedenfor stedet. Stedet var meget pyntelig med mye nips og annet som skulle gi hjemlig hygge. Kroen er en del av en mindre fiskerlandsby langs med viken.

Egentlig ikke noe.

The stein has gifted us with one of the happiest weekends of our lives. Thank you!
Pros:

We had our wedding at the Stein and knew it would be magical. Our families were absolutely blown away by the location, decor and particularly the wondrous food. The rain foiled our plans for a picnic on Friday night and Charlie let us bring our party inside to the snug where we had a wonderful night drinking and eating and getting excited for the celebrations the next day. The staff are so game to join in and helped us with a few minor emergencies which was so appreciated and all contributed to us having the most special wedding we could have hoped for. It was a joy to be able to have our dogs with us for the big day and everyone slept so comfortably in the beautiful rooms. We’re just so so grateful.

Cons:

The sink in the wee room next to Ardmore was leaking/clogged which means my mum shared our bathroom but it wasn’t too much of a hassle.

It would have been nice to settle our bill in the morning before check out as opposed to late the previous night when we’d all been drinking and celebrating but it was handled efficiently and we just paid our few additional things separately in the morning.

Gehe dort nurmehr zum Essen, Übernachten auf keinen Fall. Hotel hält sich nicht an sein Angebot auf Booking.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr schön, etwas weit ab vom Schuss aber Abends an der Bay traumhaft. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend, unbedingt reservieren.

Cons:

Ich hatte das Apartment inkl. Frühstück gebucht und es war auch so bestätigt. Mir wurde dort dann gesagt dass kein Frühstück inkludiert sein und ich das extra bezahlen müsste. Ich verneinte das und zeigte meine Buchung. Am nächsten Morgen wurde mir vom Personal auf Befehl des Besitzers eine Frühstücksrechnung vorgelegt welche ich zu bezahlen hatte. Das Management reagierte auf keine meiner Anfragen über Booking mit meiner Bitte das Problem zu lösen. Die Zimmer sind okay, aber auch nicht so toll. Betten irrsinnig klein.

Pros:

Sehr schönes Appartement, groß und toll eingerichtet. Nachts hat man die Schafe gehört.

Cons:

Man hatte irgendwie das Gefühl, ein Störfaktor zu sein. Das Personal war sehr busy und alles war zuviel. Vielleicht einfach zu viele Touristen hier. Als der Chef hörte, dass wir deutsch sind, war endgültig aus. Eigentlich hatte ich mich auf das Essen hier gefreut und auch auf das Frühstück. Wollten aber nicht noch mehr nerven und leider darauf verzichtet. Es hätte so nett sein können....

Pros:

Service was really nice. We where late from dinner due to flat tire. But they fix us table in busy night.
Location is very beutiful no matter what kind the weather is.
