We had a wonderful stay at Olimpic Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was excellent and made it easy for us to visit many of Istanbul’s famous attractions.

A special thank you to Imam, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. When I lost my bag, Imam took the time to assist me and helped me recover it, which was a huge relief for me and my family. His support and dedication were truly outstanding.

Imam also recommended many great places to visit and provided valuable local advice that helped us enjoy Istanbul even more. His hospitality made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.

The buffet breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. The quality of the food and service exceeded our expectations.

I highly recommend Olimpic Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. Thank you to the entire staff, and especially to Imam, for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely return in the future!

We booked this hotel on booking.com and the hotel was completely fraudulent about many things. Firstly, one of the reasons for booking the hotel was advised as having a bar. The reason for this is that we knew that staying in the Faith area, alcohol would not be readily available and we wanted to relax with our friends and have a drink or two after a day sightseeing. When we asked for a drink we were told to go to the restaurant next door. The second reason we booked this hotel was because it advertised that it had a roof terrace with magnificent views of the Sultanahmet. This is where the hotel was supposed to serve breakfast, however, we were told that this area was under renovation so we would have to eat breakfast in the restaurant next door. There was no evidence of any renovations going on while we were staying there, it just looked like a junk storage yard. All the pictures in booking.com are completely misleading.
We selected a superior double room with sea views which was supposed to be 23 square meters in size. What we got was a room that could not be more than 15 square metres in size. The room had a view of a wall and if you stood on the minute balcony which was less the half a metre wide and turned to the right, you could see a slither of a sea view between buildings. The Airconditioning in the room was not working properly, just blowing warm air and kept cutting out making a beeping sound and showing an error code. We complained about this an were told that the maintenance team said there was nothing wrong with it. We had to sleep with our window open which was noisy and had to endure mosquitoes all night.
The breakfast served with n the restaurant next door was ver poor. Low quality meats and fruit juices were of a low grade mass catering standard.
The only thing this hotel has going for it is that it is in a convenient area close to all the main attractions, however, there are many hotels in the same location, some substantially cheaper than this fraudulent establishment.
This hotel was a con from start to finish.

Oli hieman pettymys että hotellin oma aamiashuone/ravintola oli remontissa. Sieltä olisi ollut hienot näköalat Marmaran merelle. Toivottavasti remontti valmistuu pian. Aamiainen oli monipuoleinen viereisessä ravintolassa mutta ilman hienoa näköalaa. Mr Davut oli oikein ystävällinen ja auttavainen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olimpic Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Although the special airport transfer we had been promised on arrival was unfortunately not arranged by the hotel, Imam handled the situation professionally and courteously. He was very apologetic and went above and beyond to make amends by arranging, through a close friend, the vehicle we had requested for our return journey to the airport. He also kindly provided us with a discount on the transfer, which we greatly appreciated. What stood out most was his genuine care and attention. Every time we returned to the hotel, he would ask whether everything was okay and if there was anything we needed. His kindness and hospitality made us feel truly at home.

Ebru was equally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She offered valuable advice on travel routes and transportation options each day, helping us reach the various places we wanted to visit in Istanbul. Her guidance on using the Marmaray metro service saved us both time and money and made getting around the city much easier. Her warm smile, combined with Imam's wonderful character, was infectious and contributed greatly to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. This may be a three-star hotel, but the service we received was truly five-star.

All of the staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. One evening, when we returned to the hotel with our son feeling unwell, they showed exceptional concern and compassion. They provided extra cushions and cold water and even offered to arrange medical assistance if required. Their thoughtfulness and support during that time were greatly appreciated.

Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The excellent service and genuine hospitality of the staff made a lasting impression on us, and we would not hesitate to recommend Olimpic Hotel to others.

Zero Safety: The door lock broke at check-in, emitting a loud alarm. A technician dismantled it at 2:00 AM, leaving the door without an internal deadbolt. We felt completely unsafe with our child.

Sauna instead of a room: The AC was broken from night one. The staff told us to open the windows. Swarms of mosquitoes severely bit our child, and heavy street traffic noise made sleep impossible.

Awful conditions: Mold, dirt, and cracks everywhere. The faucet handle detaches when touched, and water leaks heavily from the upper mounting of the tropical shower. The heavy showerhead could fall on your head at any moment.The staff repeatedly lied that there were no free rooms, but suddenly tried to offer one only when we checked out early. Unprofessional and dangerous!

The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Ebru the receptionist. The area was great, close to all the sites.

La ubicación excelente, cerca de todo, muy buena la atención de todo el personal del hotel. Se caracterizan por su simpatía y atención . Da gusto hospedarse en un hotel que siempre te sonríen y quieren solucionarte todo. Desde la atención en el desayuno, gente de limpieza y atención en todos los sectores.
En especial EBRU muy simpática y atenta.Recomiendo el hotel.

We stayed at Olympic Star Hotel for 4 nights and 5 days as a family of five, and we were very happy with our experience.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and comfortable. The entire staff was always friendly, helpful, and approachable. Whenever we needed assistance or had a question, someone was there to help us with kindness and patience.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious and varied every day, offering something for everyone in the family.

The location of the hotel is also a great advantage. Many attractions, including the Blue Mosque and other famous sights in Sultanahmet, are within walking distance. There are also plenty of shops nearby. We especially appreciated the ŞOK supermarket located directly across from and close to the hotel, which made it very convenient to buy everyday essentials.

We would like to express our special thanks to Ebru at the reception and to Imam Can for their warm hospitality and genuine care. Their kindness made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable.

Thank you for making our family trip so pleasant. We would gladly choose Olympic Star Hotel again on our next visit to Istanbul and would happily recommend it to others :)
