Pros:

Stu the host was great nothing was too much trouble and I could utilise the facilities there cutlery plates etc for food brought in as they do not do dinners etc just breakfasts which sets you up for the day and were very tasty. Room had a kettle and plenty of tea coffee etc to use telly with plenty of channels and comfy enough bed all for £40 a night represents excellent value. Location is in a residential area which is pretty quiet chippy/ Indian a short walk away centre of Gateshead about 15 minute walk away so very central and ideal for basing yourself for Newcastle Sunderland etc perfect for a few days.

Cons:

Shared bathroom fully functional but not ideal for toilet if someone is occupying it but I knew that was the case before I went so in spite of this I'd still be happy to return.

Excellent night sleep and a great start to the day (lovely breakfast)😊
Pros:

Lovely host. Breakfast was delicious. Room was very clean. Ample tea and coffee in the room. Free WiFi was available if needed ( we didn't use though) . Decent sized bathroom with good shower. Great location, on the main 21 bus route to Gateshead and Newcastle city centre, and only 10 minutes walk to Gateshead centre. Very close to saltwell park which is lovely and worth a visit. On the main road, but very quiet, no road noise. Good price. Value for money as breakfast was included with our deal. Had a good night's sleep, bed was "just right".

Cons:

Floor boards were a little creaky, but it's an old building and to be expected. This didn't cause any problems. Decor is a little dated. Could do with a shower mat as I find the shower base slippery ( but this is the same for every shower I use).

Stayed here so I could get to class easier the next day as I commute in typically. The room was clean, quiet, and comfor

Tolle Erfahrung. Großartige Gastfreundschaft.
Pros:

Retter am Abend - kurzfristige Buchung ohne Probleme. Sehr nette Begrüßung spät abends. Ich könnte mein Fahrrad sicher im Innenhof abstellen. Der Betreiber unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es ist ein altes Hotel mit bequemen Betten und Modernisierung an der richtigen Stelle (Bad). Alles sehr sauber.

It will gladly impress
Pros:

We stayed for a couple of days in a triple room, which was very clean, as were all the facilities. Stuart, 'mi amigo 😀', is very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. Without a doubt, we will definitely be back soon.

Inexpensive cosy hotel with a really great host
Pros:

Stuart is an exceptional host, I was made to feel at home from the moment I walked in through the door. He even got up early to make me a cooked breakfast because I told him I had to leave first thing for work the next morning. I slept really well and it was extremely good value

Cons:

Just wish it was a little bit closer to public transport, Gateshead Stadium is about a 15 minute walk

A big choice of breakfast opitions! Cooked or uncooked! A friendly host !!! And a tip for fellow live music fans i travelled to the cluny to.see to american artist ally venable! Travel tips gateshead travel interchange close by to get into newcastle!

Cons:

All ok for me somewhere to lay my head & the breakfast ideal to.stay for a music gig!!!
