Loved Bay Vista Hotel
Pros:

We loved the view of Arugam bay from our room. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choices, both western and Sri Lankan. The staff were fantastic, working hard to accommodate all the guests. They were good at communicating and were a well organized cheerful bunch. My favorite part of our stay was the restaurant that was open from morning until evening. They served up the best cuisine that we had during our whole four weeks in Sri Lanka.
An exceptional experience staying at Bay vista.
There's also a family friendly swimming beach nearby. Before our departure Passi made us a couple of real Italian cappuccinos that we enjoyed in the newly opened, beautifully decorated rooftop café. Highly recommend this family run hotel.

Unser Aufenthalt im Bay Vista war toll. Die Lage ist sehr zentral im Ort und der direkte Strandzugang ist toll.

Die Zimmer waren tadellos sauber. Wir hatten einen kleinen Balkon, welcher sogar einen kleinen Wäscheständer hatte. Gut um die nassen Badeklamotten zu trocknen.

Klimaanlage und Ventilator waren einwandfrei.

Auf jeden Flur wurde kostenloses Wasser aus dem Wasserspender angeboten.

Die Wellen und die Strömung direkt am Hotel machen das Baden schwierig bis unmöglich. Wenn man aber ein paar Minuten Richtung Süden läuft gibt es eine tolle Badebucht.

Das Personal ist stets höflich und aufmerksam gewesen.

Über den Zimmerservice können wir nic sagen, da wir nur 2 Nächte in Arugam Bay waren.

Cons:

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche könnte etwas stärker sein.

Schmuckes Hotel mit Flair und super Lage
Pros:

Lage direkt am Meer, rund herum viele Shops und Restaurants.
Sehr komfortable saubere Zimmer. Blick auf Meer war schön. Sehr netter Manager und Personal. Er hat uns sogar ein Zimmer Upgrade gegeben und uns den Transfer zum nächsten Ort organisiert.

Really enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Very good breakfast and ample food, the staff were excellent and helpful A good location and the water was very nice to swim in. We would definitely recommend the hotel and we would return when we’re here next.

Cons:

It was the off season and pretty quiet- unfortunately there was no yoga but we were able to do our own - only a minor thing. The power went out a couple of times- out of their control.

Traumhaftes Hotel am Meer
Pros:

Große Empfehlung! Eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir in Sri Lanka hatten. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da und hatten richtig schöne ruhige Tage dort. Man hat nochmal eine ganz neue Seite von Sri Lanka kennengelernt. Das Hotel bietet alles an was man braucht. Das Essen ist super lecker. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Meerblick, was unfassbar schön war. Den Sonnenaufgang kann man direkt vom Zimmer aus beobachten. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und sauber. Die Lage ist super und man kann die meisten Bereiche fußläufig erreichen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Cons:

In der Nebensaison ist leider kein Yoga Angebot vorhanden, aber man kann sich Matten ausleihen und eigenständig auf dem Dach Sport machen.

L’accueil très très bien. Nous avons eu un problème de douche (pas d’eau froide donc brûlant tout le temps) le personnel a réglé le problème en 2h pendant que nous étions à la plage.
Le repas au restaurant était juste délicieux !
