A guesthouse with nice amenities in the mountain valley
Pros:

- Nice guesthouse on SS38 highway, a 15-minute drive from Merano. Bolzano Bozen is 30 minutes east while Stelvio Pass is 90 minutes west
- Plenty of free onsite parking
- Beautiful grounds with a lawn, outdoor chairs, and lots of flower pots
- Spacious apartment: 2 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and a full-functioning kitchen
- Fully renovated bathrooms with new faucets and showers
- Large and comfortable beds
- Breakfast (starts at 8am) is not included in the apartment's rate but the host offered us pastries - great if you leave after 7:30am

Cons:

- Wi-Fi connection was rather weak and completely stopped working at 9pm. The router might be tied to a power outlet that switches off in the evening
- Quite restrictive cancelation policy that makes the booking non-refundable 30 days in advance
