It was a wonderful and memorable stay for everyone, fur baby included!
Pros:

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. To be clear this is a ryokan for travellers with dogs and the staff do a tremendous job of making you and your dog feel welcome. Want to have your fur baby dine at your table? Want to share the onsen experience with them? There really is no better place to do it than here. They understand that your dog is one of the family. The rooms are also spacious and the food portions absolutely generous. We also appreciated the genuine smiles and love for animals.

Cons:

We didn’t dislike anything about the property but note that the location is near Gora and not near the main Hakone train station. It isn’t a problem though because you can use a taxi if you are travelling without a car.
