Imagine staying at your jungle view home away from home in a modern, well run, charming boutique hotel that is superbly managed by Ishan with a chef who caters to your needs making excellent meals, and an ancillary staff who are kind along with being attentive.
Literally there is nothing that they could be done better.

Room next to kitchen was noisy from the water pump and kitchen.
Beautiful property in a stunning location in the middle of the mountains- very serene and quiet. Very clean and comfortable spacious rooms. Very warm hospitality from the staff especially Ishan who was very helpful. Chef Ashoka was excellent for Sri Lankan curries and food. Excellent WiFi and unlimited tea/coffee was very much appreciated.
For the price there should be air conditioning in the rooms because during the day temperatures were around 30 degrees Celsius and the room felt like a furnace - even with the fan switched on it is simply impossible to enjoy the room during the day because of the stifling heat and no air conditioning. Also on the first day I was told I would have total privacy to go for a dip in the nearby stream/pond on the property, and out of nowhere about a dozen people appeared who were not staying at the property but decided to picnic and bathe there as well - I had to go indoors as there were too many people and I could no longer enjoy what was otherwise a peaceful space. I don’t think it’s fair that a fully paying customer is forced to leave the space and facilities they have paid for. Had I been informed total strangers would suddenly show up, I would have booked elsewhere.
We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.
An amazing guest house with three rooms, and a large common area, located at the foot of dramatic and lush hill. We managed some very nice birding just sitting in the garden. A truly relaxing setting in nature. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the meals were delicious.
If you are visiting the Sinharaja forest, it takes almost an hour to get down to the entrance. Note it can be difficult to get a car here. And while the staff managed to arrange a rickshaw, it wasn't possible to arrange a car. So it helps to have your own car.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful Bungalow during our visit to Sinharaja rain forest. Bungalow Manager, Ishan together with the chef and butler ensured we had an amazing experience with a very attentive service. The food was amazing and the Sri Lankan cooking demo followed by delicious lunch in the garden is a must try. The bungalow itself had a very luxurious set up and beautiful interior with views to die for. We wished we could've stayed longer at this beautiful place.
