Very friendly and lovely owner - always helpful, easy going. Yelum can also help you with getting around Sri Lanka. Beautiful garden and 5 min walk to the beach. Close to the train tracks but the train doesn't run very often. We were here 5 years ago and decided to come back this year and will do it again:)

We really liked the nice atmosphere with the garden, we felt like home! Yellum is very friendly and super helpful, he even invited us to a local event, which was a great experience! The food was also very delicious! Thank you so much!!

The owner, Yelum was very reliable and helpful to make guest comfortable during the stay. He is knowledgeable of the area surrounding Midigama to give me suitable advise to do the activities.
When I had a hassle with an online booking and refund process of STLB bus, he supported me with a big patient at heart.

Really enjoyed the location and the hospitality. Yelum was super helpful and laidback, really made my stay as easy as possible. The house is a few hundred meters away from the beach and close to all the surf breaks.

Great location only a few minutes walk to a quiet beach that is great for more advanced surfers, with some nice restaurants and juice bars very close by. Unfortunately I missed it, but the beach even had some turtles hatch during my stay. Very helpful and kind owner, who sorted me out with a moped to rent for a few days at a good price. Super tasty breakfast.

Very nice Homestay with various breakfast included. 5 rooms with privat Bath are located into a nice shadowy garden, which makes it a nice familiar athmosphere. The rooms (with fan) are simple and clean and have everything you need. Yelum the SriLankan owner is very nice and helpfull in every situation and speaks very well englisch. He and his family run the location. They also rent Scooter, do laundry, and make nice breakfast. There is a waterstation where you can refill your water (with a box for money when you use it). They are not obtrusive but help when you ask.
The Location is just a few minutes walk from the nice beaches from Midigama.
You can surf lazy left and lazy right and rent a surfboard just at the corner of the beach. There are a few nice restaurants with good srilankan food nearby. The railwaytracks are nearby but the trains that comes from time to time did not disturb me. The Spa Station next door is run by the brother of Yelum and I can higly recommend to go there! So the whole setting is really nice for a great stay at Midigama. I will come back.

Awesome hangout spot post surf. Yelum is a great host and makes a delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay again!

Yelum and his family were such brilliant hosts. If you want a simple spot with great food close to the waves and centre of Midigama, look no further.

We arrived late and he woke up to welcome us. Very nice guy
the price is low and seems appropriate for what you get.
