A nice hotel for a weekend in Poiana Marului
Pros:

The hotel is quite big, you get a big parking near the hotel and the restaurant offers delicious food. Also the staff is very friendly.

Cons:

The rooms could use an upgrade.

Cons:

The room and the whole venue is not, by any imaginable standards, a hotel. Many of the facilities exhibit jury-rigging which is funny and inventive but should not be advertised as a hotel. There was an awful noise made by the water dripping through the radiators during the night. The breakfast here is ridiculous, most likely 5 euro worth of cheap supermarket meat and cheese put together in a hurry. A good feature is that you can wash your head in the sink while sitting on the toilet (if you are not a big person, because then you won't fit). Also, if you plan on using this hotel as a base for skiing at "Muntele Mic" Weski, just fyi even if it's listed by those people as a "partner" hotel, it's 80 km away because you need to go round the mountain, and the roads are in a very poor state, making it 2 hours away.

Pros:

Staff were helpful.
Food was pleasant

Cons:

Wifi in room dropped out every few minutes due to poor signal strength (great in dining area)
Shower was lukewarm at best.
Beer wasn't cold.
TV remote didn't work.
Acoustic separation between rooms was terrible. (If there's almost no guests, then don't put them in adjacent rooms)
