dirty feel to the room

We had our booking confirmed and had exchanged messages with the owner about our arrival time. When we turned up we were rudely brushed away and signalled to go to the hotel opposite (she didn’t speak a word of English and made no attempt to communicate with us what was happening). It turned out they had overbooked and then fobbed us off to another hotel.
I don’t know as the lady there took us 10m to another hotel.

Didn’t stay there as noted she took mine go elsewhere us to another hotel about 10 metres away
So we stayed there it was excellent
No elevator, noisy and you have to wear the house slipper
Clean small hotel in a good location, with lots of local cafes and restaurants. Lots of stairs to climb if you are assigned a room on an upper level, which didn't bother us, but may be an issue for some. It was sometimes a little difficult to find a member of staff when we needed something, but when we did, they were very helpful. Good value for money.
