Horrible check in. Not very nice place.
Cons:

I had the worst check in experience ever, and I’ve been to over 30+ countries. I arrive show my booking, I pay, the lady tells me I’m not paying enough, I show here the total I’m meant to pay, and count the money out 3 times before she accepts it. I ask if I can go to me room and she just sits there and looks at me, she’s says something in spanish I tell her in Spanish I don’t understand, I show her my translator twice asking two different ways to go to my room and she just sits there, I ask her in Spanish to write what she’s saying into the translator she refuses. I ask a random man eating to write what she’s saying and he asks if I want to stay there I said I just paid and showed my booking I want to go to my room. Finally another woman comes and takes me to my room after 30-40mins and I was the only customer there. There was bugs in the bathroom, the only AC was an old small fan that couldn’t move. The power plug was in a very awkward spot. The bed and pillows were rock hard.

Puyo is an amazing city and the hotel isn't the first priority
Pros:

Hidden unfurnished rooftop.

Cons:

Front gates was locked at around 10-11 pm without me knowing. I'm sure there's arrangements for breaking curfew, but I didn't ask.
