Thr breakfast
TV did not work
Stayed here one night on a motorcycle tour, with a bunch of mates. The place was a bit hard to find, as the GPS location is wrong, but after asking a few locals, we eventually found it.
There was ample and relatively safe parking for our 5 bikes although cars might struggle. The location is OK and fairly quiet.
However, the word "suites" conjures up images of large room with all the facilities of home. This is far from the truth, and in reality you get a tiny room with just a bed and a shower. No kettle, no hair dryer, no table & chairs .... all a bit misleading really.
Its a long walk from the "Old Town" of Bantay, so expect to have to hire some taxis if you wish to see that bit - which is worth it. There is a choice of food close by, including a "Shakey's" which serves all sorts, and has a English menu. But if you don't venture out, apart from eating, there is not much else around the hotel.
In summary it was an "OK" hotel, cleanish, and not too expensive. Fine for a night if a bed is all you need. But if you are travelling to visit the sights, you would be better off paying a bit more, and finding something in the older historical part of the city.
They have really stretched the description of a "Suite" !
Friendly staff
Elevator was out of order. I have a bad hip and the stairs were difficult
The staff and the owner addressed my requests with a smile. They changed my towels and cleaned my room EVERYDAY!
I availed a breakfast once, didnt quite live up to my expectations for 250 pesos around 4USD.
Location is good near to tourist spots staffs are friendly and accommodating beds are comfy breakfasts is good and arranged on time kudos Ms Wendy.....
Pillow covers bit outdated(off white) our room have lots rugs on the edge of the wall and windows (I think it was used and kept due from previous rain and storms) dusty aircon vent....
The breakfast was good. The location is good, and bed was comfortable.
The staff (especially the main female employee) was so rude, never experienced such rudeness at the hotel. 1st they say they offer an airport shuttle, but they never answered my email where I requested one. 2nd, on the second day, the lady was like "YOU STILL NEED TO PAY FOR YOUR BOOKING!" and I was like "yeah, no problem, just the guy from yesterday didn't know how the credit card machine works". She was acting like I was trying to cheat them out of paying or something. So I pay, and go do my day of tourism, but when I get back she says the payment didn't go through and again with such an attitude like I was trying to cheat them. I was suspicious though because my card usually alerts me if there is an issue. Anyway, so she makes me pay again, claims again it didn't work and is just so rude towards me - like it is my fault. I said, sorry I don't know what the issue is and she says "tomorrow then". I go to my room and she actually after an hour or so comes to my room, knocking and wanting all of my credit card info. We'll, turns out, BOTH payments went through and she just had no clue what she was doing, and because she doesn't know what she is doing she couldn't refund my card, but had to give me cash (which she rounded up in favor of her hotel). That woman was a nightmare-so just because of her do not recommend this place.
