Central, clean
No milk in fridge and fan did not work in room 6.5. Maybe flat battery
10/10. Absolutely loved this place.
If you want a shiny modern hotel with perfect soundproofing and everything looking brand new, this probably isn't for you. But if you love old buildings with genuine character, history and a few quirks, the Cornwall is bloody fantastic.
I stayed for two nights and the hotel ended up being one of my favourite parts of visiting Moonta. My room had an old-school balcony overlooking the town, plenty of character, and the sort of atmosphere you simply can't manufacture in a new hotel.
Yes, the walls are thin. Yes, it's old. That's part of the charm. I didn't come to a historic pub expecting the Hilton.
The staff were friendly, the location was brilliant for wandering around Moonta, and there's something special about staying somewhere that actually feels connected to the history of the town.
I genuinely didn't want to leave.

Having to ask staff for toilet paper, surely the cleaner should already have that sorted. Bar staff had it rectified promptly when advised

Historical building lots of history to relive great wrap around verandah off some of the rooms. Lounge/ kitchen well equipped too.
Steep stairs to navigate to access property after hours.

its an old pub so we expected that things would be old but for the price we got what we paid for.
no cups or dishes in room.,back steps not made for oldies to go up or down but before 10 am only suggested way out.
Tv didn’t have 7Mate to watch football finals

The room smelt like rat/mouse urine I ask for a refund they tried to give me another room I look at another room and said no thanks still haven’t got my refund
