Managed by a private host
The accommodation is set in nature, in a small hamlet, far from the town. If it weren’t for the loud music in the evening coming from a car, it would have been completely peaceful.
The accommodation, however, is very neglected and dirty. They don’t change the bed linen, there is no hot water, and there is no comfort at all. I really suffered here, as I find it very difficult to tolerate the smell of previous guests in the bed. Our little house was located directly above a pigsty, so those smells were mixed in as well. In any case, I would not come back, as breakfast was also more in name than reality – just one pancake or one omelet. Not even the children had enough to eat.
Locatie is mooi en rustig
2 uur gewacht totdat iemand aanwezig was
L'emplacement au contact de la foret
Le personnel
L'équipement sanitaire est spartiate,
Very dirty nothing works there nothing clean
Rip off dinner price careful
Beautiful location and views
Unfortunately, the property is not being maintained properly. No sinks, doors not closing and super noisy neighbours using their ghetto blaster from 6.30 in the morning!
Very friendly people. 60k for dinner per person. Beautiful surroundings. Quite location.
It was not as in the description. No kitchen no washing machine in the property (could do laundry at the cafe). Toilet (urine stain and smell) and bathroom were quite dirty.
Beautiful view from the rooms
Nothing fancy, but all you need for a nights stay
Absolutely stunning view and such nice staff and you really feel like you’re living in with the locals. It’s quite far from town on a windy road so not great to go to dinner in town at night if the roads are wet. It was about 15-20min on bike to town. But the food here was delicious and freshly prepared so we didn’t mind at all. They were also so kind in accommodating my gluten allergy.
Also it’s quite far from Mt Inerie so if you want to do that trek, maybe stay somewhere closer to the trail. You can do the trek on your own or you can find a guide to help you in finding the trail. We got a guide through Wolokoro but it ended up not working out and we did it on our own. The rooms are small if you get a private one for you and your partner but so comfortable and warm and have great windows and views. It was quiet and beautiful and peaceful here. Just know you’ll have to drive a bit to get to places and there isn’t much to do here except relax and enjoy the view.
If booking.com shows no availability, just WhatsApp them. They had plenty of availability but booking.com said they were full.
The food was amazing home cooked delicious food
The host clearly loves to cook😊
Everything was just great beautiful natural setting
DON’T BOOK this accommodation. The owner died and there is nobody there. It looks like a ghost town and the bad thing is that somebody is owning the booking account and took our money. We arrived late and stood for a closed door. The money was never refunded
Dinner was delicious. Great views from balcony. Friendly and helpful staff.
Someone from the kitchen staff was very helpful and provided us with a whole range of amazingly delicious meals. Even taking into account a vegan diet.
The location is stunningly located with an amazing view, and very private in the middle of trees.
Since the area is rather rural, we had hoped to be able to arrange trips via the location itself. That didn't really work out.
According to the description, there was a kitchen available for cooking which did not seem to be the case anymore.
The place also did seem a bit outdated and there was nothing really relating to ecotourism practices.
Dinner was very good and breakfast also decent
Bedrooms were a bit cramped and the shower and water facilities were a bit below expectations.
The view, food and the team
The noise and the bed
