This is a fabulous old coaching inn, brought to high modern standards in the most clever and tasteful way, and to a very high spec. Everything about this place is right.
Nothing!
Lovely village. We were lucky to be able to join in watching the world cup football in the village hall and to see the village spruced up for the garden walk-about. Lovely, interesting, immaculate church. Great post office/shop. Would visit again and recommend. Hotel great asset to village.Thank you.
Noise of extractor fans outside our window.
Great location, lovely building and attentive staff. EV charger was very useful. Coffee pod machine very welcome. Bar area was lovely
Room “Blue” was very warm and ventilation not great. Room is opposite the kitchen ventilation system, the noise wasn’t too bad but it may bother some
Breakfast excellent, good choice, freshly cooked quality ingredients, flexibility on request.
Well maintained, clean with tasty food and wonderful staff.
Absolutely beautiful place set in the most gorgeous little hamlet. We had an evening meal which was gorgeous. I've marked down because of the breakfast. We opted for a full English. The hash browns were under cooked and soggy, the egg was over cooked and the orange juice had gone off as it was sour and fizzy , very disappointing. Everything else was spot on .
Breakfast, as explained.
Location amazing, good venue. Very relaxed feel but organised.
Top floor in the swallow I was a little tall for the ceilings and I would have liked a window. Personal choice rather than anything wrong with the place.
The staff were so welcoming. The food was excellent and the room was spacious and comfortable.
The hotel does not have a lift but the staff helped us with our bags and the room of our choice was situated where there were fewer steps to climb.
Friendlies of staff, pleasant atmosphere, good decor, efficiency and friendliness of staffThr
The glass door for the loo , gave a lack of privacy
Excellent food, very friendly staff, service and great location
