Fantastic staff and superb value for money
Pros:

Excellent location. Quiet area. Available parking. Plenty of hot water. Extremely comfortable bed. Amazing blackout curtains. Superb value for price especially given cooked breakfast included. Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating when I thought I had lost a very sentimental piece of jewellery - in fact they were readily prepared to sort through the rubbish bins! I cannot be more grateful for them going above and beyond.

Cons:

Perhaps in need of a little tlc but thats only cosmetic and does not impact on an enjoyable stay.

Pros:

Good location

Cons:

Bed was very creaky but comfortable
There was no real shower. Just an adapter to the taps.
No shower curtain so meant basically sitting in the bath

Very disappointing and grim.
Pros:

Cheap. Nice staff. Good location.

Cons:

I knew this was a budget hotel, so wasn't expecting a Palace. The reviews looked good and the pictures of the rooms looked fine. When we got there, the first thing we noticed was that it smelled like a musty pub. The lock on the room door was very difficult to use and the room was tiny. Single pane window which let in a draft and all the noise from outside. Very old and tired room. Paint and wallpaper peeling off the walls. Wooden furniture full of damage. Bathroom tiny, toilet, sink, shower. It appeared clean, but was so damaged and worn, it was hard to tell. My daughter burst into tears and refused to even enter the bathroom. We stayed 15 mins and decided we couldn't stay, so left. Thankfully, the staff gave us a refund, which took a few days to go through. Not a nice place.

Pros:

Easy, relaxed,
Fantastic value for money.
No concerns using these guys again.
Did exactly what it said on the tin !!

Cons:

Well, as hotels go, it is not the most modern - but then you cant make it modern !!
It is was it is - as they say.

Good value for the short stay. Some rooms need urgent refurbishment.
Pros:

Hardworking staff and outstanding breakfast.

Cons:

We were in room 15 which was pretty tired looking and actually quite grubby in some areas, which is a pity as we'd had pretty good rooms every time we've stayed here. Shower also intermittent with temperature.

You get what you pay for! £56 for 2 nights
Pros:

Not a lot

Cons:

On a busy road
Check in night staff wasn’t very friendly
The bed top cover had some interesting marks on
There was the worst smell in the bathroom
Shower clip was waist height and was hand held and no screen or curtain
Breakfast had a 30 min window and I waited 10 mins before anyone came to me
Check out was 9am but the fire alarm was going off at 8.20 so I didn’t bother with breakfast and headed out

Good hotel for a budget stay.
Pros:

Very adequate budget hotel good for an overnight stay. Good location and easy parking.

Cons:

The bathroom was too exposed and did not give enough privacy as it was a bay at the front.

Unbelievably good value for a short stay
Pros:

Friendly staff who were very accommodating preparing me a sandwich when I had to leave earlier than breakfast. Comfy room which was perfectly warm and had all necessary facilities: tea, coffee, kettle, working shower, soap, plenty of towels, TV. Adequate cleanliness. Definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Cons:

You could only access Wifi from the communal areas, and the room was on the small side. These did not detract from my stay as I did not spend much time in the room, and for such a low price that I paid, the overall standard of the room comfiness, cleanliness and facilities was beyond what I expected.

Short stay
Pros:

Location is perfect, lots of free parking near centre and a short stroll to the main shops. Staff were lovely, breakfast was quick and exactly what was needed. We had a twin room and we found our beds super comfy and had a really great sleep.

Cons:

Rooms are a bit dated but didn't impact the stay.
