Beseco Bed and Breakfast

Location was great. Walkable from the beaches around. Mr. Naythen was a great host.

Beseco is located in a quiet area of Benaulim with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It's also around a 15 minute walk to both Benaulim (busy) and Sernabatim (quiet) beaches. The owners, Naythen and Chantele are very pleasant.
From the photos and reviews we were looking forward to our stay at Beseco. Sadly it did not meet our expectations. Having revised our expectations the apartment is actually quite nice. We were in what I would call the back apartment. It's light and airy. The wifi, fans and a/c worked well and the lighting was good. The kitchen has what appears to be a new kettle, toaster, microwave and induction hob and a full size fridge/freezer. Utensils seemed limited but as we only used the kettle, this didn't affect us. There were no shelves in the cupboards to store groceries only some unappealing drawers. A tea towel would be useful. There is no television which is unusual these days for a property like this. The bed was ok. The clothes storage was limited. Quite a few power sockets but they are not international, so you may need an adapter. The bathroom, although very small, was fine. There is a shared washing machine which we appreciated.

We chose Beseco Bed and Breakfast for its beautiful aesthetics and peaceful location, and it completely won our hearts! What really surprised us was how thoughtfully maintained and cleverly designed the property was. As architects, the attention to detail really caught our eye. It’s not overly grand or flashy, just cosy, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay.

The quietness was exactly what we needed to escape busy city life. Mornings spent with a warm cup of coffee on the balcony, listening to birds instead of honking cars, felt like pure bliss. Every corner of the property felt inviting and homely, making it easy to just unwind and feel at ease.

The hosts were amazing. Some might worry about privacy when the host stays on the property, but we found it comforting. It added a sense of safety and support. They were always ready to help, like arranging the electric scooty for us and keeping it charged and ready every evening, without us even asking. Yet, they also respected our privacy completely.

Clean, comfortable bed, nice decor, and very friendly and helpful owner.
We were so impressed that Nathan got up at the crack of dawn to ensure our taxi to the train station had arrived and even offered to take us if it didn’t (thankfully the taxi turned up albeit quite late!) Really appreciate Nathan’s offer to help us when we needed it and had the risk of missing our train.

The B&B is extremely well maintained and very well appointed. The rooms are very smartly decorated and have all the necessities. The owners kept track of our needs, in spite of being on a foreign trip. The caretaker took good care.
