Perfect staying!
Pros:

The property is truly beautiful and clean, and is perfectly set up for surfers. There is a rack for surfboards and a drying rack for each room. The manager Yas is a wonderful person, he solved all the problems we had:
- we had an unavailable day and he found us a room even though it seemed fully booked;
- when my partner broke his board, he recommended a guy who could fix it;
- he took care of the loundry;
- he introduced us to my surf instructor...
In short, he was really kind and made us have a wonderful week. If I were to return to Arugam Bay, I would definitely stay here again!

Cons:

The property is slightly away from the main road and the main point of Arugam Bay. However, this isn't a big problem because it's a 5-minute walk or a 1-minute tuk-tuk ride (300-400 rupees will take you to the center).

amazing stay, lovely rooms, kind staff
Pros:

great location, super comfy beds, everything was really clean

Cons:

we did two loads of laundry while we were staying. first load was faultless, but unfortunately second load our whites got ruined.

they were happy to refund, and we were happy with how it was resolved, but just be cautious if you’ve got clothes that you are precious about.

Great value for money and highly recommended!
Pros:

I had a very clean and comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, delivering exactly what was promised on the website. Unlike many other hotels that fail to meet the expectations they advertise, this place truly ensures the promised facilities are provided. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

Unterkunft entsprach komplett den Erwartungen. Preis/Leistung super. Unterkunft liegt 5 Gehminute vom Anfang der belebten Hauptstraße entfernt - für.mich war das völlig ausreichend (in den meisten Strandbars sind die Strandlegen umsonst, wenn man dort konsumiert). Handtücher für Strand wurden kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellr, Klimaanlage lief einwandfrei, Personal bemüht

Cons:

wurde an den 3 Tagen 2y Nachts gegen 5 Uhr wach wegen den Gebeten in der nahegelegenen Moschee iZm verbesserungswürdiger Isolierung, Mückdnnetz wäre gut

Great stay!
Pros:

Great stay in Arugam bay! Accommodation matched photos. Shower was hot. Good location just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Staff friendly and happy to help.

Pros:

The Deluxe Double Room in first floor room 10 was clean, bright,has comfortable bedding with A/C and an insect-proof window. Safe parking is provided and scooter rentals are available if you request. The hosts were flexible and available.

El personal es muy amable. Me hice daño en la pierna y fueron a la farmacia a comprarme lo necesario. Están muy disponibles. La habitación es limpia y agradable. Está a 5 minutos del centro, pero es mejor porque tienes más tranquilidad. Lo recomiendo 100

Perfect hotel to stay in Arugambay
Pros:

Royal Point is located only 5 min by foot away from the city of Arugambay.
The staff is very always ready to help the guests. We were able to rent a scooter with the help of the staff for a very good price.
The room was very comfortable and very clean.

Für ein paar Nächte okay, allerdings auch eher teuer für das, was man bekommt
Pros:

Gute Lage, man kommt in etwas unter 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Klimaanlage war gut.

Cons:

Extrem viele Mücken, da die Tür nicht ganz dicht ist, können sie durch die Lücke welche reinfliegen. Es hat geholfen ein Handtuch vor den Schlitz zu legen. Schön, dass es einen Sitzbereich gibt, allerdings ist es dort nicht so gemütlich gestaltet.

Saubere, gut gelegene Unterkunft, leider mit unkommunikativem Personal.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Lage am Anfang der Tourist Zone und ist daher nicht mitten im Gewusel. Jedes Zimmer hat eine eigene Terrasse mit Trockenmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer war sauber.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal war nicht kommunikativ. Wir haben uns nicht so sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir wollten einen Roller mieten, was nicht reibungslos geklappt hat, da es zunächst vergessen wurde und wir im Endeffekt eine Stunde später loskamen als geplant.
